I haven't posted many healer videos and there really isn't many healer videos of this trial, so I thought I'd join in and post mine for some people.

It's not a super clean fight with a fancy score by any means and a lot to improve but at least there is improvement after so long, execute phase could use a bit of work with positioning, almost one shot the boss then ended up spending sometime in there learning positioning out to help.

As for build I am using 5pc Infallible Aether, 5pc Spell Power Cure with 1pc Ilambris

Would you say healing this is a harder task than dps?

It depends really, I think the hard part about this as a dps would be to play smart about the incoming damage and using shields at the right times and what not. Being Melee dps is a lot easy cause you get to rely on igneous shield a bunch, but range and kiting is a little more difficult, I think the hardest part would be to not get tunnel vision on your damage and remember what is happening around you and being able to react to it fast enough

Tanking, well I've only done off tanking I found it maybe the easiest if you know how to position yourself well for the dps to be able to hit everything and have a build sufficient enough to give support to everyone. Main tank has to worry about not screwing the Rakkhat positioning up which can be pretty easy and tanking in a very limited space, most tanks wont like that.

Healing I would say is some what the most difficult task because it relies heavily on your positioning to out heal the incoming damage, in execute for my video everyone was so spread out and wasn't clean at all, and you see how easy it falls apart. That and you need to keep your debuffs up and resources for the dps.

But hard to say really, depends on what people enjoy doing most. Others will find different things harder and others will find it easier.

It also sounds silly, but I think the absolute hardest part is relying on people to do mechanics right, but that is part of the team effort and end goal and to help each other out

Mind posting your build by chance? I just got my breton temp to 50 and I want to make him a strong healer with good DPS but ALSO be able to easily switch over for vet trial healing.

Nice seeing how other healers do it. You're right, I don't see nearly enough healer point of views - I've been trying to find some to see how to improve my tactics and it's easier said than done.

I've already seen some things I can work on, so thanks for this. ;)

@Nifty2g great video, made it look really straight forward in terms of avoiding damage, keeping health up and supporting with orbs.

Couple Qs couldn't see from your bars you having shards or siphon spirit but did have healing orbs and Ele drain I think, does another healer use the other 2 skills or are they not needed a much on this boss?

Siphon spirit isn't all that great honestly, the cast time ruins it. As for shards it's a lot better for a DPS to run it since we have about 2-3 templar DPS it's in their rotations to cast it every 6 seconds so healers get to focus on some other stuff and opens up bar choices. We both pretty much more or less run the same stuff

Hey I posted in OP but
5 SPC (4 body pieces with restoration staff and lightning staff)
5 Infallible Aether (5 body pieces)
1 Grothdarr (Shoulder piece for max magicka, can use ilambris, kena, trollking etc for this piece even max health)

There is a lot of options to run as healers which is good now, I find this set up is easiest and most sufficient
