Making changes to the game without properly testing them first, then taking 4 months to get around to a fix whilst staying silent to the community seems to be a trend I'm noticing with ZOS.

They really are the worst MMO developers that exist. As mentioned above if this wasn't an Elder Scrolls game fueling my nostalgia I wouldn't give this game a second of my time.

This made me lol .. not at ZOS, at you. Plenty of people still love this game, still play daily, and enjoy it. This forum is the worst part of the community because it's filled with a bunch of negative nancy's who just spew *** all day. If you love the game shut your mouth and play or move on.. after reading that wall of QQ I want to slap you with your caps lock key, control yourself child.
I've played ESO since launch like many of you, and I'm just as pleased with the game now as I was when it was released, if not more. If you want a game to last you support it through the hard times too, not crap on it because your diaper got full and you couldn't handle it.

Balanced PvP is a PvP where you can one shot all these n00bs. When noobs are teabagging you it means that PvP is screwed and terribly unbalanced.

So much relies on a well-oiled, fully-planned-out combat system designed so that every little intricacy comes together and plays well with everything it interacts with... If a game's combat system in not well put together, it can very well take the entire game down with it. You really need someone who can see "the big picture" leading it.

I think it was very much a mistake for Wrobel to sit SotH out in terms of balance adjustments to "let things settle," and in retrospect it was poor planning to let new sets be the extent of balance changes in 1T. Now that we know the next update will feature balance changes... heh, no pressure, but there are very high expectations.

TBH IMO either the combat team is sorely incompetent or severely understaffed, else the rest of the code is just terrible if it take so many manhours just to work on sets... Ofc my speculation means little and I really just want to see the game prosper.

But seriously Wrobel, you've gotta deliver for us in U13. We don't expect anything absurd like a game balanced in one fell swoop, just a "simple" pass that reduces the imbalance of everything that you touch and that you DO touch on the balance issues raised since the last pass. No, it isn't actually "simple," but if you need help figuring out how to do it right there are countless players willing to help in the test server, if you can get it there.

Eye of the storm got a mention in the post, of course. The reason it wasn't my main focus was because I die to proc sets A LOT more. If I see a big ring of fire circling an enemies body I run for the hills, so I really haven't died from it very often. Proc sets on the other hand, give you very little warning, or none at all.

{abcde are different kinds of buffs, 0-5 is stacked buffs, each unlocked 10 buffs to spend as they please}
New player comes who cant access 10 buffs or old player who doesnt know how to stack buffs
0A + 0B + 0C + 0D + 0E

1. A != B != C != D != E .... because they are all situational so never balance anyway
2. 0A + 0B + 0C + 0D + 0E ...is guaranteed to be wiped every single time because they can never mathematically compete with no buffs
3. 5A > 2A.... unless you match abilites, the low value build loses = unviable hybrids
Essentially balance is never ever attained nor attainable.
They are forever chasing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, which simply doesnt exist in the current framework.

Further it's mostly a light attack and the rest is Velidreth, Viper, Grothar or Red mountain. It's crap i tell ya. Zos is being vague about it telling they have something in mind and are testing it. Hold on to your bottoms ladies and gentleman because hardly any good can come out of this. Zos and testing lol. Didn't they test what would happen with zergs using proxy detonation, or Vicious Death and all other crap proc sets?

No, the test will be done by the PC-players. I hope the "fix" will be good. But currently i don't have high hopes.

Dang 19k. That actually takes coordination though, Clerod is an amazing leader. Those proctatos just press one button then stealth away. That utly was one button as well but I'm also debuffing to fire with engulfing flames and mangling with pulsar in between.

Dang 19k. That actually takes coordination though, Clerod is an amazing leader. Those proctatos just press one button then stealth away. That utly was one button as well but I'm also debuffing to fire with engulfing flames and mangling with pulsar in between.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, pvp and pve NEED to be on a different server they can't be connected anymore balance between them with all the we new sets and champion points can't be fixed with a battle spirit buff, just split your game and work on balancing them both separately

If you do not do this at this point you may as well remove pvp because it's *** and will continue to be

Minging. Last night was the worst night I've had in PvP, I shoulda logged on to another game instead. This meta is not my cup of tea, doesn't stop others from fully embracing it though, which is a shame.

Stacking in groups using Eye of the Storm is every bit as bad as using those multi proc sets, both them take about the effort of pushing a button.

This is just silly at this point. Mojican summed it up perfectly in another thread about the game being pretty much non-competitive. Whomever brings the most people with the most EOTS and Negates win...it doesn't matter if that 8 man group outplayed your 18 man they still lose because they don't have as many EOTS or Negates it's a joke at this point

Couple that with stamina proc builds dominating the major of small scale encounters....leaving magicka disadvantaged there and there's that

The game is a flipping mess and it will take far more then a magicka patch to fix it.

Until then I'll continue to play while drinking, cheers!

Agree, the fact that some of the proc sets ignore line of site, and seem to have incredible range on top of that I am standing on top of a keep almost to the inner and I am still dancing around red rings and proc effects, while the enemy is still outside and on the ground.

These things make zos look bad, sloppy and untested, they should be embarrassed.
