Vicecanon set

Does Vicecanon set activates with Dark Cloak (Stealth)?

I haven't specifically tested it, but I would not expect so.

Dark cloak gives invisibility, which is different from stealth. Stealth involves sneaking until you are told you are hidden. If you use dark cloak in a dual you will quickly realise being invisible does not give you stealth!!

Based on the tooltip for Vicecanon it sounds like it will only work when hidden, not just when invisible

(5 items) When you deal Critical Damage to an enemy from Sneak, you inject a leeching poison that deals 13760 Poison Damage over 15 seconds to them and heals you for 100% of the damage done.
#1 tip (Re)check your graphics settings periodically - especially resolution.

I'm giving you lots of guesses today :s I am pretty sure you can buy it from guild vendors and as it is not a desirable set you could probably get 5 pieces pretty cheap. Please let me know if it does work because I've always wondered if this could be the gank set for me.

It used to. It now states only criticals from crouch. Crouch is not cloak. Its designed for ganking or coming out of stealth.

It does if the next hit from stealth/cloak is a crit. If you use shadowy disguise your next crit within 3 seconds is a guaranteed hit, ergo you will procc vice everytime.

Use that morph and you will crit from stealth 100% chance with your next attack (must be direct atk) and you will procc vice everytime.

The set only works from crouch criticals though. It doesnt work with cloak far as im aware..anymore.

Do you know if it works from cloak while in combat?

I feel it's pretty lackluster set now. I used it and loved it when you could proc it on multiple targets. Now I'm using 5x Spriggans main bar (2h), 5x air off bar (bow) and 2x velidreth with great results.

@Bl4ckFir3 vicecanon only works if you attack while crouching/sneaking. It is not the same and will not work with simply cloaking. In a previous patch it worked with cloak but this is no longer the case and diminishes the worth of this set

It does work from stealth. I literally tested it out in duels and pve last night. I'd just cloak and hit someone and it proc.

thats because you started the duel in stealth. try and go into combat first before applying the poison from vicecannon. then cloak and attack and see if it procs.

Umm no. I would initiate combat or duel. Hit cloak, and just light attack. Vice would go off. I did this with a group of mobs as well. Aggroed 2-3 at once, cloak and hit one, watch vice tick them dead, then move to next.
