Why too many quests outthere

StanicEnemy
ive been playing mmorpgs for my entire life but I have never seen a mmorpg with too many quests,im new in this game and my level just 15,I tried to keep an eye on the main quest but when the quest lead me to somewhere I find side quest and I aim for it,while going to complete the side quest I find another side quest and I take it,its like life circle,i dont really know if i should ignore side quests,i read every single dialogue in any quests 'cause its how rpgs are played for me,but from now on i barely get myself into eso 'cause of tons of quests and having no knowledge to make a good build, there are alot of skills outthere but we can only use five and plus one ultimate skill except swapping skill bar thing.

How do you do it seriously?

Having quests that lead to more quests with side quests and optional quests and so forth is pretty much what makes an Elder Scrolls game and Elder Scrolls game. Just go slow and listen to the stories as they unfold, it's one of the best parts of the game experience.

Also, you're level 15, don't worry about builds. Just play and have fun, you can get to builds later when you actually have all your skills unlocked.

It depends on how you want to play.

With One Tamriel, you have several options. You can stick in a zone, do every quest, kill the mobs, do all the dolmens, basically do everything you can do, and you'll level up nicely. Do everything in about three zones and you'll be at level 50.

Or you can just focus on the main quests for a faction. You can do the first quest in the zone, go where they tell you next, finish that quest, go where they tell you next, and so on until that the main quests for that zone is done, then follow the quest to the next zone. Even if you do that, you'll be leveled to 50 before you complete a faction.

Or you can ignore the faction quests all together. My current character started in Stros M'Kai but because she's a wandering member of a religious order, she gets sent to different zones. Using an alphabetic list I made and a random number generator, I chose her next zone completely randomly. When she is done, her next zone will be random and so on.

The game is more of a sandbox now, which I enjoy.

Numerous side quests is the very essence of an Elder Scrolls game. I just finished one zone at a time.
