Fixing Stealth

Legerdemain: Improved Hiding needs to be replaced with Medium Armor: Improved Sneak. Medium armor should not be a requirement for improving stealth skill. A light armor spell caster should be able to sneak just as good if not better than someone in medium armor. Of course Heavy armor wearers should still be allowed to improve stealth but penalties should be added for trying to sneak around in heavy armor. Training in Stealth should not be placed in a single armor weight it should be on its own, placed in one of the night blade passives, or taken out completely.

Are you complaining because its harder to steal/pickpocket in light/heavy Armour? I'm just trying to narrow down what your issue is. Are you talking about PvE or PvP?

Your logic is flawed. Robes and loose clothing even though is lighter does not make it easier to sneak around. Medium Armour is designed to hug the body and be flexible and durable which is why it is the better choice to sneak around in.

If you want to level legerdemain quickly just go steal a bunch of Armour and weapons daily from towns. This is your best bet because trying to steal lock-boxes/chest and/or pickpocket consumes to much time, pick-pocking often gets you a bounty as well which is a bad thing. In light/heavy you will most likely get caught trying to lock pick things also. To help out i guess you could use invisibility potions.

I really need more information on your issue to give any advice. Your claim doesn't make any sense in my opinion.

Yea i guess i didn't think about that part about the light clothing being loose fit even if it is a shirt and medium armor being a more tighter body fit. That does make it make more sense as to why medium armor decreases both detection area and stam used and both of those passive skills not being in the legerdemain instead of just decreasing stam use.

I used to rock 7 piece medium. Loved the stealth bonuses for it. Now I rock 5 heavy, two medium. But... If i need to do a stealth mission or sneak. I just throw on a medium set of nights silence i made and bam, I can sneak again. Usually if you're doing a sneaking mission, fighting isn't an option. So no need to be in heavy for it. I have heavy armor passives maxed and the first three medium passives maxed.
