Okay, now moving past the clickbait title,
This is a meaningless act for most of you, but its a bit of a milestone for me. I rarely ever do dungeons, and when i do its with a full group in my guild, and even then its almost always a Normal Dungeon cause we more often than not just end up wiping and giving up. But today i was so fed up with the Finder that i went in alone on my MagSorc. And i actually did it all with no deaths. This is the first time ive completed ANY group Dungeon on my own. And...i dont know how to feel about it. Im sure most if not all of you can solo a nDungeon with your Controller turned off, and would expect someone of my CP count to do the same, but at the same time i want to feel like this is an achievement. Something for me to use as a springboard to try and solo other Dungeons, to finally acquire some full Monster sets, and finally grow just a bit more in the game. But, i guess for now, ill settle with the happy feeling that my MagSorc, which isnt even one of my Mains, kicked some royal monster butt in a Dungeon without any help.
And for my effort i got an Infused Skoria Arm Cops.

Also, vFG1 isn't much harder than nFG1. It's basically "don't get caught in the boss AOE"

I think you will find if you put your mind to it, you can solo just about any normal dungeon that doesn't have an "insta-kill without more than 1 person" mechanic.
Veteran dungeons are a bit tougher and may be too hard, but if you have given vMSA a go and can do the first few levels you might want to give it a shot. You are definitely using the best class to pull it off!2 -

You have not. This seems to be a small patch of radiant sunlight in an otherwise dark, barren, and cookie-less hellscape.

✭✭Good effort, you have achieved something I will probably never even try.
My friend and I two man a lot of dungeons but I doubt I will ever bother trying to solo any. I do not specifically enjoy dungeons and have never farmed any for that special piece of gear. For me the fun in doing dungeons is in the company, so the thought of doing them solo would be boring.Australian on PS4 NA server.

✭well done. I've taken up solo ing quite a few vet dungeons too- mainly because at my timzeon i lack company to run with. its satisfying and gratifying but at the same time- takes alot of patience to dps thru the whole thing. nothing like companionship though.0 -

nSelene's Web has been Soloed, albeit not nearly as smoothly as Fungal Grotto was.
I wanted to get the other Pledge done so I challenged myself again. I survived through every boss all the way up to Selene, but I had forgotten about her adds that spawn all around once she's in her second form. I must have wiped six times, maybe seven. Selene is a complete bi-...difficult. Almost gave up, but that "Just one more try" ended up being the one and I did it.
Went back to the Undaunted camp to get my key, opened the chest hoping for an Ilambris Shoulders, and I get the same exact piece of-And for my effort i got an Infused Skoria Arm Cops.

✭Grats I solo'd my first normal dungeon not too long ago. It was Darkshade Caverns I, then I tried Darkshade II and couldn't get past the first set of mobs :P
You should try Elden Hollow I, Spindleclutch I, and Darkshade Caverns I, you'll find them to be about the same difficulty as Fungal Grotto I to solo. You could try Crypt of Hearts I too, it would be the same difficulty as the others except for the final boss(es), but I've found using a Clannfear for them made them a lot easier to solo too.

The "old" normal dungeons are all pretty easy, just keep practicing and you should breeze through them soon enough. The Volenfell bosses can be kited around, mines should be great there I guess. Bring some other dots and aoes, blink out if that annoying bot catches you with a snare. Just gotta keep whittling them down instead of trying to go for a quick kill and exposing yourself.
Direfrost Keep is the only one of the "old" dungeons that can't be soloed. The good old two trigger plates mechanisms prevents it.
Keep out of the Imperial City and the two Shadow of the Hist dlc addons for now.0
