Swarm Mother exploit!?

The first couple times this happened, I thought it must be a fluke. But this has been happening repeatedly and from multiple enemy players...
People are able to proc the Swarm Mother set at will. While fighting one person, I get yanked 20m over to someone who I had not hit or even looked at - no ground AoE, no DOTs, nothing. People are able to use this set like Dk chains to peel players at will. Does anyone know how this is happening?
I don't have video yet, I generally don't run any screen capture apps.

Yep @Alucardo I'm sure of it. I don't have the set, but if you are seriously trying recreate, try targeting someone and then damaging yourself with Equilibrium. Just a shot in the dark here.1 -
Daveheart✭✭✭✭Was the player who pulled you guarding someone you were fighting? I highly doubt you wouldn't have noticed it, but the guard visuals are unreliable, and it helps to eliminate possibilities regardless of how unlikely they might be.Daggerfall Covenant (PC-NA)

Because you can't. They nerfed it straight away. It's first iteration was awesome. So much fun. Now it's ***.

Netch is free with a cleanse and free magika. You nerf siphon into the ground. Nice balance team.
