Yes, I know the first 20 comments are not going to answer my questions and ask why I am in the wrong section. I posted here because on both threads I created, there hasn't been a single reply on either in the past 2 days.
Anyways..I wanted to know a few things about the Mag and Stam builds of classes. I am a Templar right now and just bought attribute/skill respecs. A lot of people to favor stamina over magic in a class that RELIES on magic to survive..I want to know why everyone seems to think this is more effective? (I am talking about PVP by the way) It sounds like many players prefer to play stamina on magic builds and I just don't understand. Why would you play a stamina sorcerer over, I don't know..a MAGIC wizard? Isn't that the whole reason you play a sorcerer? Same goes for DK and Templar.
I could see a DK being primarily stamina as they are meant to be tanky, but you'd need at least *some* magicka to fund your skills, wouldn't you?
What would benefit you from playing stamina? Earlier I was in a duel with a DK as a "Stam"plar, but apart from using puncture to weaken defenses, I used only magic abilities that ended up in me winning. What's so special about just using weapon skills to win a fight? Do they have some better advantage in PVP compared to magic?
It's just my opinion as a noob, but 95/100 people had recommended I play stamplar. I'd feel even more gimped if I knew I could not maximize my healing abilities.
I know that you have to use at least some class abilities, but not nearly as many as a mag build. I just see myself being a purely magicka guy and hardly any stamina.
Something to ask on the side..What should I do about health? If I want to be a Templar tank, how many points do I put into health and the other attributes? I am an Imperial Sword & Board since I figured that would be good for tanking. They have good health passives and stamina too even if i don't choose it.
Last question just to summarize. If I play as a Magplar for PVP, can I make it work?
