Question about spriggans/nmg

Gearing up a stam sorc for 4man/solo content and wondering what I should use that I can get my hands on quickly.
I'm wondering if running the spriggans jewelry with two precise spriggans daggers( from the quest ) is still worth it. I then have 5pc NMG but I don't know if that would mesh badly with the spriggans. Then like stormfist monster set at the moment.
Is that alright or would I be better off not using spriggans without sharpened weapons. I also have agility and red mountain jewelry or can get other stuff crafted like TBS if that would do me better to begin with.
Any help appreciated, cheers

Easy start for a stamsorc:

- 5 x Spriggans (3 x accessories, then two of belt, boots or gloves)
- 5 x Hundings, (2 x sharpened daggers, chest. pants and whatever small piece isn't Spriggans)
- 2 x Monster Set (Veli, Stormfist or Kragh)

Work in one heavy piece and one light piece, ideally chest and legs, unless your monster set covers it. Ideally, your chest is heavy and one of the small pieces (shoulders, belt, gloves, boots) is light.

This is not BIS. But it requires no trials or VMSA gear, which can be hard to acquire. Moreover, it ensures that you have the right traits on all pieces. It also shows the biggest advantage Sprigs has over NMG -- it comes in accessories, so you can combine it with a crafted set.

You can exceed 25k single-target, self-buffed with this setup. It's what I currently use. You can probably do even better, as I am still working on the muscle memory needed for optimal rotation timing. Also, I suck at animation cancelling (working on that, too, though!)

The following:

Veli monster helm or Krags that's it *** the storm fist away.
Spriggan is better IF your khajit because the crit you lose from NMG you gain from Khajit you also gain max STAM and the 1.5k Pen.

HOWEVER.

You mentioned precise daggers this is a big no no.

If you can't get a hold of sharpen spriggan then run NMG because you can easily craft up 2 sharpen NMG without worrying about paying the silly price tag on sharpen spriggan daggers.

I've done hundreds of runs using these sets, probably 30 runs in VMA using spriggan I can tell the difference using a Kahjit over Redguard but not the other way around.

Conclusion:

Veli monster helm or Khrags
Spriggan Sharpen Daggers x2 if not NMG sharpen daggers don't even think about precise crappy compared.
You should also be going into trials and obtaining VO.

The ultimate you will be aiming for:

5 piece spriggan
5 piece VO
2 Maelstrom weapons

As a stam SORC this isn't overkill due to the lack of pen we have on our bar. For other races, it would be slightly different.

Hey man thanks for the tips. Only using storm fist because thats the only dps set I have so far.

I'm not exactly sure what you're suggesting to use to begin with. Are you saying get NMG daggers and get sprig armour to make up the 5pc? and have both those sets at once? Or get NMG daggers and wear a totally different 5pc for gear? and then what jewelry?

I have pruple sprig, red mnt and agility jewelry. I have sharpened sprig bow too for what thats worth.

If I get sharpened sprig weapons what do I use along with it while I don't have VO. Sorry for all the questions lol.

spriggans is a pvp focused set designed to help counter high resist of tanks. and is best for 2nd and bow builds also. there is a better set then spriggans for dw.

My suggestion:

5 Piece NM - sharpen daggers x 2
I thought so about your monster helm and you seem new to the game so don't stress about Veli, but Khrags is 100% obtainable very easily (if you get shoulders from chest)
The other option is super viable RNG envolved automatron set or whatever it's called weapon damage to dual wielding abilities insanely strong. Especially starting out which you seem to be doing.

What about the rest of the pieces? Maybe I didn't portray my question well but I already have 5pc NMG. So I have 5NMG, sharp leki daggers and healthy agility jewelry. I want to better my damage and doing something like golding my leki daggers doesnt seem like a good idea. So came my question of using 5sprig 5nmg with precise daggers but I understand now that precise isn't that good.

depending on what your are building for, depends on best gear.

nmg + sunderflame makes a strong armor debuffer (your damage wont be highest but you will with major/minor stam breach and sharpened weapons from other stam users completely or very close to completely erase all of a bosses stam resist (~18k pene) if your in pvp that set also works caltrops for nm heavy attacks on targets. if facing tank then the dps run spriggan/twice fanged serpent and can zero out some 38k armor resist.
