After around 200 runs, I have managed to land a Sharpened Axe though. This thing is just sitting around doing nothing atm since I only play Magicka Sorc now....4 -

@Vaoh Kinda the case with me, but the game in general. I just needed a sharpened lightning or inferno staff. I got 1 inferno staff during the event (defending), and never saw a lightning staff at all. I honestly would've accepted any lightning staff, but nope. ZOS RNG feels I don't need 1 yet. So rather than keep getting upset, and keep using an incomplete build — I quit. There were other factors behind me quitting as well, but RNG was a big piece of the reason why.1 -
I finished VMSA for the first time on Wed. Stamblade. Got a sharpened dagger on my second run, Friday night. Last night I got defending Resto and some BS 2 hand Maul.
I really want 2x to stay! At least extend it through Thanksgiving week! All I know is 2x, dont think I can do 1x!1 -

Gave up on finding a sharpened inferno now. Won´t run it with single loot. Worst runs were with double sword and board, I mean really?

@Vaoh Pretty interesting to hear. Because I already have 6 full Sharp stam sets (Bow + Dagger + Axe), yet not a single Sharpened or Precise Inferno. And looking at how late Streak got his first usable Inferno, I'm done with vMA as well. I am already over 400 runs in since release and I am not planning to run it 2k times. Please do something to end the insanity. I really want my character to progress. I can complete the content, but I can't do anything about RNG screwing the loot tables up. My sharpened ratio is currently at about 1:16 and should be 1:8. Nearly 1/3rd of my rewards are a bow when there are 12 different weapons available. Please add a token system or maelstrom crafting system or multiple rewards or trait rebalancing or anything really. potirondb16_ESO✭✭✭Dual loot is actually a pretty fun idea, it does double interest. I do Wonder if tokens will ever come through in this game... my mind is currently set on probably not, or not the way we would have like it anyhow...
Token should always be made available to give the player acces to object in order to recongnise his dedication and reward him on the behaf of it. It should not be made available in order to give him acces to object which are already accessible while being blocked by the RNG.
An exemple of a good token system :
- Do Dailies (Undaunted/Warrior/Mage/Thieves/Assasin) and gather community bonus which can later be exchange for Horse Riding Lesson, Research Times, or Gathering Pouches
An exemple of a bad token system :
- Complete 3 times the dungeon and open a chest which contains one of the item which drops Inside the dungeon. (I know, you know what this is)
If the reward is Something which you should already have access to but which you cannot because it is lock behind RNG then it isn't a reward or a way to reward the player for his actions and involvement. So Twice reward is nice. Token for lack or RNG ... not sure ...
I mean it could easily be fix, for instance instead of opening a chest the lady at the end ask you to pick a weapon from her armory and you can get the weapon you want (with an RNG traits)... That's easy, kind of works well and doesn't need to add more pression on the RNG, theresay no token is needed.

Damn, I apologize to hear that. It's partially because of the horrible RNG in ESO that I quit until the next update, and I've been loving my gaming experience(s) since. Pokémon Sun and Moon have me hooked like a fiend, and Skyrim SE and Disgaea 5 are lit. Megadimension Neptunia VII as well. I'm telling you, bruh. Just take a break from ESO, and see for yourself just how greener the grass is on the other side of non-bad RNG.1 -

I did 57 runs this week and yes i was lucky and got all things that i wanted but its PAIN and you should be rewarded properly but Zenimax doesn't understand that they just spawn themselves weapons no grind needed...0 -

Flak✭✭✭✭I also did about 50 runs in these two weeks, at least I got my first sharpened Dagger and that is with nearly 300-runs in total. Also still missing a sharpened Inferno. With doubleloot the time I invest is already insane.
If they turn it back I probably won't even try.
Highlight in these two weeks for me was crashing in front of the chest before I could pick it up and getting a response from Support that I "should just do it again to get the loot" xD
Like I wasn't running it all day.
So please keep the double loot for vMA until you can fix the rng.

Yup, I sure do. Lol. But, I'm not planning on doing that until I've beaten the game, collected all items out and about, and gotten the main PokéDex ~80% complete. I've bred tons of 5IV and 6IV pokémon before, and it's nothing compared to the grind for weapons and specific gear in ESO. I kid you not. ESO has some of the worst grind I've ever experienced, and I've played tons of grind-oriented games (WoW, LoL, Diablo 3, Pokémon, Destiny, etc.). But, none come close to the grind I've experienced in ESO. Especially Maelstrom loot grinding. Even during the Orsinium Event, the grind experienced was horrible as you are bound to get screwed over by the horrible loot distribution.0
