Normally I suck it up when I get bad vMA drops, of which there are very many. Multiple alts, leaderboards, and runs weekly. Both before and after 25% drop rate, 50% drop rate and 100% drop rate. Even the lousy traits and the lopsided drop rates between weapon types. Hell I would even suck it up when I received two gold restos and other junk from one week on the boards. Then we get the vMA event. Double drop rates for all and two weeks of it. Now I was grateful for this and am running 4-6 times a day. I am almost done with vMA as I have a superior collection of weapons and BIS on almost all my functioning vet alts I am only missing a couple of dual wielders. I have had some luck but more so a lot of hard work. Then tonight I had my second best Templar run and best overall Nightblade run. My Templar received double restos and that is typical and not a big deal. One was at least nirnhoned for potent nirncrux. Then I ran on my Nightblade. I kicked out the floorboards of the car and was yaba-daba doing it. On round 8 second to last boss I used the destro ult and cut her down. I swapped back to meteor and my skills locked up I could only mash them to get them to activate. I persevered to completion of round 9 with just one death total. Locked up abilities and all. As I approached the box I asked it only one thing . . . please do not be double restos. I received two in decisive making for four resto staffs in two runs and one of many such instances this event.
So I ask this. What was the point in letting us have double drops if its only going to be restos and the like. What good is backhanded generosity. Will you still be chiseling us for our time when you raise the gear cap. Of all the shystie drop rates in the game vMA is the only one where it is absolutely solo. Where you cannot obtain from others or buy what you need. Endless runs among broken mechanics in a laggy instance. I understand having to put in some work. I have. Few have put more time into the game than myself. On the note of raising the gear cap to 180. It better not happen for a long time because this game is getting to a point where it is just not worth the time. Replacing everything I have is months and months of work and millions of gold. I know they will not care if I leave. But from a dedicated and long time player. Where's the love? Can this relationship not be just about the money. Reciprocate a little bit and even things out if not make them more favorable.
Seriously nobody has that many healers. Restos drop way too often. A few others like bows are not far behind. Oh and what is the point of a charged dual wielder.
I didn't choose tank life, tank life chose me.
