Armour sets - 7 pieces

Obviously certain armour sets give 2, 3, 4 and 5 piece bonuses and it's quite normal to have 2 pieces of another set for a second 2 piece bonus. If I were to wear 7 pieces of a single set, would the 6th and 7th piece give a second (double) 2 piece bonus?

Could go all the way up to twelve if you include weapons.
Personally though, I never really cared for big sets like that. Sure they're powerful and often have a cool look to them. But somehow they also feel cheap and completely lose their coolness when every other person you meet is wearing the exact same thing.
At least with smaller sets some variety is encouraged. There's plenty I don't know about the game or are overly concerned about finding out until it becomes relevant. Having acquired 5 pieces of a dropped set it seemed simpler to ask than fork out the gold for two more pieces just to find out.
Are the forums now only supposed to be used for Nerf demands?

Unsure what you mean by coolness. People going for builds that help them reach great dps or people that find sets that work with their unique build they like to have fun with are my definitions of coolness.
@runagate is also included in my definition of coolness. Maybe the definition.
