Selene set bugged?

I know it's already known but couldn't find a thread about it so here it is. The Selene set is bugged. Tested on a stamplar it did proc of bow light and heavy attacks, which it shouldn't. Didn't proc of steel tornado which it should. Doesn't proc on rapid strikes, does proc on jabs. Will this get fixed?

Did some further research, here are the results:

2h:
Procs on everything (light attack, heavy attack, skills and bash).
S&b:
Procs on everything.
Dw:
Only procs on cloak not on anything else. While at least steel tornado should proc it.
Bow:
No procs: had cloak on before so that was a mistake.

Dw has a serious disadvantage here. Should at least proc on steel tornado and frankly if it procs of jabs it should proc of rapid strikes imo. As it is now, only stamplar realy benefit from the set and even then Velidreth has a higher proc chance.

Agreed and tested... not procing on dw abilities... only shrouded daggers.

Selene's procs on direct melee damage, so any melee attack, mostly sword+board and two-hander, will set it off. However, it will NOT proc on any damage-over-time effect, like most dual wield skills. Not sure why steel tornado doesn't proc it, because as far as I know, it doesn't have a DOT to it, unless AoEs are not direct.

If you're having a hard time getting it to proc when most of your DPS are DoTs, I recommend Velidreth, Sellistrix, Kragh's, or Valkyn Skoria. The first 3 proc on just damage, while Skoria procs on any DoT. I prefer Sellistrix because it gives a free CC to mobs as well as damaging them.

Steel tornado isn't classed as a melee ability as it's range is more than 7m

@WuffyCerulei Im sorry sir but DW is a melee and procs every melee set in the game accept seleens. Would you like to know what tested melee sets on, that it procs with ?

Also Zos just messed up saleens on dots so its not procing on dots. (THATS GOOD ) But should have a chance to proc on the first hit of rapid strikes or the last. And same with blood craze should have a chance with the first hit. Not the dot its giving off.

Heres the problem that Zos didnt understand how to deal with so they left it alone.

Il explain when using bloodthirst "i use" a future bug would be

Skill:

Flood an enemy with steel, battering them with five consecutive attacks that each deal [x] Physical Damage.
The final hit deals 300% more damage and heals you for 60% of the damage caused.
The final hit heals you for a percentage of the damage caused.

The proc from saleens would count as a heal. But zos doesnt know how to decipher the code properly on that particular skill. Thus leaving it alone and not thinking we noticed, same with bloodcraze.

Melee, yes. Direct? No. Direct damage is damage that does NOT do damage over time, so Rapid strikes and twin slashes will NOT proc Selene's as they do damage over time.

@WuffyCerulei Sir.... Bloodthirst is not a Dot or else it would scale with thraumaturge and is doesn't.

Skill: Bloodthirst

There is no counter over time, it doesnt say over 3,4,5 seconds. Its just 5 attacks not over time.

Skill: Bloodcraze

Slice enemy with both weapons to cause deep lacerations, dealing [x] Physical Damage and causing them to bleed for an additional [y] Physical Damage over 9 seconds.

However, bloodcraze is a dot, but not the first hit to initiate and engage it.

And direct melee damage should be the first hit on bloodthirst and last and bloodcraze should be direct melee damage on the first hit as well.

So all Dw abilities are either ranged or a Dot. Poor synergy there...
