Can we at least get the first shrine in every area. I want to go travel tamriel not look through my trader guild find someone else farming and travel to them. Especially since the roster doesn't always show up.
P.s. Can VMSA have the wayshrine activated.

    There's a Navigator in every zone's main city, who can take you to the next zone or next faction.

    I though 1T unlocked the first wayshrine to each zone

    vMA shrine unlocked? Be happy there is one there. We still have to trudge to vDSA even after we have been there and cleared of 100x

    This. For instance there is a navigator in Davon's Watch that will take you to Mournhold (and give you the Serk wayshrine just for going to Deshaan). Talk to him again and he'll take you to Stormhold in Shadowfen.

    Didn't see that they could take you to next faction. But still 5 times just to get where I want? Good thing I have trade guilds.

    Isn't there a wayshrine 100ft from the arena?

    Navigators, would take 4 Trips to go from Stonefalls to Reapers March. And, you don't really have to walk very far in between as the navigators drop you off at the next navigator in the next city.

    Davon's Watch->Mournhold ->Stormhold->Windhelm->Riften->Reapers March City (can't remember). So 6 times.

    Or. Run from Stonefalls straight to Riften. There's a small little connector to go to The Rift in the northwest of Stonefalls. Then Rift->Reaper's March.

    EDIT: If you own Orsinium DLC, Wrothgar borders Bangkorai. Wrothgar->Bangkorai->Reaper's March.

    It should be even easier than that. Stonefalls to Auridon to Grahtwood to Malbal Tor to Reapers March. 4 Hops.

    Leave your horse at the Stable until they are around 25 or 30 in speed.

    Turn on Auto Run (if you have that on the consoles) and just take in the sites. This is one of the most beautiful games made. Look around, enjoy the view, chase a fox or squirrel. Pick a flower, mine some ore, have a picnic, get drunk at some abandoned camp somewhere, poke your head into a Delve or three along the way.

    It's not the Destination, it's the Journey.

    Hi there! Here's a tip, if you're in a guild, go to the guild roster so you can see all the players in the guild currently online. Find one in the zone you want, right click > travel to player. If you can't find anyone in the zone you want, just ask someone from the guild if you can get a port to the zone you want by sending them a message. They'll just port there and you can travel to them. People have asked me several times to do this, it only takes 1 min so no big deal at all. Good luck!

    I thought that before 1T, if you were part of the undaunted (>level 45 and doing pledges), you could travel to a dungeon from a wayshrine and walk out the entrance of the dungeon to discover an area. Since 1T, every time I leave a dungeon via the entrance, I get transported back to where I originally started from.

    This seems like a step in the wrong direction for me, especially seeing as anyone can now go anywhere.

    I wanted to do a survey map in The Rift yesterday on one of my max leveled characters and had to travel to a known wayshrine in Stonefalls and ride there. Not a major issue with maxed out riding speed but just annoying.

    And now you have a wayshrine in the Rift. I don't think one-time trips are a big deal.

    I would enjoy the scenery but I done all adventurer quest in every area twice. Seen the sites. I wish we had auto run. Maybe it won't be so bad since I upgraded to the ps4 pro.

    I would if that *** would load. I have to wait 10 minutes to see who's in that guild roster. Not sure if you read that part. But thanks I guess. Luckily I have "navigators".

    They take you to the next zone in the same alliance? I thought they only took you between equivalent major cities in different alliances. Hmm. Much better than riding there.

    It doesn't take long to reach the zone you want. Just do a quick Google search on which boat takes you there or which zone connects to it.

    @lordrichter

    You have two choices, one of the two "Sister" cities in the other alliances (your in Grahtwood so you can choose Deeshan or Stormhaven) or the zone below you or above you in the alliance you are in (your in Grahtwood so Auridon or Greenshade)

    Actually if you belong to any guilds then you can kind of travel anywhere with no wayshrine. All you need to do is search the guild roster for someone that is in the zone you want to travel to and then select "travel to player" and it will send you to the wayshrine that is closest to them.... now you are in the zone and the rest it up to you!

    Edit* I did not read through all the replies so someone may have already mentioned this!

    Ohh it seems that @Carl-lan had already mentioned this method!

    IMO, it's enough that they unlocked the first shrine for the first zones for each alliance, plus DLC.
    Those pixelated legs need some workout and your horse could use some excercise, too. :wink:

    The Navigators are one of the more obscure parts of One Tamriel, very few people know them.
    Little SNAFU: for most cities traveling via Navigator will unveil the wayshrine in the city, but not for all. In Mournhold and Shornhelm you need to walk up to the shrine to unveil it.
