Destroult is trolol wayyy too overpowered. Proccsets are cancerous and ruins pvp.

While I do agree that destro ult is really strong, I'm not sure if I would call it OP. Destro ult has never been the reason for any of my deaths yet in this game except once when I thought it was a Grothdar proc and didn't realize how much damage it was doing. When the negate buff first came out, everyone complained about how OP it was and how it needed to be nerfed. Now I hardly see anyone complain about it and don't really see it much in Cyrodiil anymore. Destro ult is strong, but it seems like it's just strong right now because people haven't got use to fighting it yet.

People dont complain for negate anymore cause it doesnt negate eye of the storm and every magicka class use that broken ultimate.

1v1 thinking makes it seem ok.. but if there were 5 of you sitting in 5 destro ulti's - could you all outheal it then? Or would there be 5 burnt burrito's?
Edit.. nice play in the vids btw.. Reminds me to use mines more often!
Could 5 of you survive 5 soul assaults if each one is targeted at a different one? I suspect yes.
But for AOE's - No - but those are all either single target or instant.. you can usually see a timed meteor/db ulti-dump coming and make sure you are elsewhere when it lands - but with EOTS - it just chases after you - usually with streak/rapids and any other gap-closers - with a smattering of other CC thrown in to boot. And with enough of them running, you only need to have the edge of it touch you for a second and you're down. That's not just you though - that's any and everyone in the area.

They definitely would.. and for the old-fashioned comet/DB dump, that's job done.. those 5 turn and start counter-attacking..
But with EOTS, they have to keep spread out and out of gap-close range otherwise they will be caught/killed. There can be no counter attack while it is ticking and there are always those who get caught.
Maybe its the kind of groups that run, but I think I'm seeing a pattern where more complaints come from the EU servers than the US. I'm starting to suspect that the US servers don't see many organised groups of 12-24 all running rapids, with a few people specialised in gap-closing/snare/roots - with others all running EOTS and every other AOE ability they can find, with the usual core of healers too. There are always plenty of people getting caught in it (refreshing their ulti at a frightening rate) - meaning you never know if its ready to be dropped or not - meaning your only option is to just stay away.. and not fight..
I wouldn't be too surprised if they rotate it too.. having 5 ppl pop it offensively with another 5 keeping it in reserve for when pushed - so as a group they have twice the uptime but still enough killing power to almost instantly drop anyone coming in contact.
We've all heard of force-multipliers.. Well this is the thing that gets multiplied - massively.

The non EOTS morph does.

Eye of the storm. The one the follows you. The other morph gains the root but it's a ground based static aoe. Still fun though.

Lovely clips man.

Aaaaaah right. So the one that follows doesn't root?
Awesome vid. Saw you out a few times and you always had shields up so I didn't gank. IMO there is nothing OP about EOTS when used on a Sorc without a gap closer. They can try to streak on you, but there are so many ways to escape from a sorc.

Thanks! It's funny because when I'm fighting someone really tanky or someone who I don't need to use shields to beat, I will often not reapply my shields. It seems like sometimes the moment I don't reapply them, I get instantly ganked. I guess I must have been extra careful when you were near me for whatever reason.
