Vampires - Pale skin?

I've seen a few vamps runnin around without the pale skin. Anyone know if this is a setting or just a visual bug on my end?

The paleness of the skin & the redness of the eyes & face become more pronounced as the Vampire progresses through the 4 stages of Vampirism.

Disguises disable any skin that you may have on and appear human. This is probably what your seeing.

Yup, yup. Quest disguises reset you to fresh out of character creation settings

Any cosmetic changes you have active will also disappear.
I find it a fun way to instantly appear completely different

Now if they would just give us the option to do this no matter WHAT our characters are wearing! C'mon ZOS, take my money! You sure aren't getting it for the gambling boxes.
