WW was Actually Alot of Fun Lastnight in Cyrodiil

So I tried WW again after a long time since they got the new abilities and a shorter Ultimate cost. I have always been a Cyrodiil endgame player. Stam NB, Bow/2hand. I figured i would try something new. I spent a few days leveling up all the new WW abilities and went to Cyrodiil lastnight. It was actually alot of fun.

I went WW in a Bleakers seige. There were alot of people, small enemy fire actually kept my WW from up without hardly ever needing to feed on a guard or body, area heals were fine i never really got hurt and my movement speed kept me safe, noticed a venom arrow here and there but really didnt do much, 1 howl and i was full life. Everytime enemies would come out of the post door i would pounce from a distance, then do the knockdown attack, poison claws then slash away. they would all die or die from poison once they got inside. If multiple people came out it was pounce and fear, kill kill kill. We took the door down and i went in and feared everyone at the flags ae poison claws were awsome inside, went up teh stairs with others, pounce, knockdown slash away kill, i probably did that to atleast 10 people above. After we took it i finally lost WW but had been in it for atleast 10 minutes. Anyways that fight had me really excited for WW

later some open field skirishes. That gap closing pounce is amazing followed by knock down. I had some good fights with sorcs some escaped away, some died from poison on their escape aways and 1 couldnt break cc and went down without a doing anything. in one skirmish i did get dropped by a sneak attack poison arrow so there is that to worry about. In a 1v1 i did get owned by Trap , i think some one elses arrows were hitting me too but that Trap did its job as it suppose to. But for the most part anyone i rushed i pretty much got. At one point i was human and sniping a NB popped on me and I was able to mark target and go WW before i died (close) as he was fear away I was able to hold block and howl heal up, then knockdown, poison claw and claws, (if u dont know basic attack leave a big poison dot that stacks with the claws poison dot) he stunned me but died running away.

Anyways I had alot of fun lastnight. I think alot of people would like WW in Cyrodiil if they gave it a good chance, I sure did. And for teh most aprt you dont have to devote yourself or build to WW, i was still primary bow. my 2nd bar was 2hand and buff, i kep WW there and would play with it when ever it was ready, but for the most part i was still a bow sniper playiing.

    @Pirhana7_ESO ...nice thread man...

I had stayed away from using ww from a long time in cyro (felt like it just painted a huge target on my back)...

did some research on how to be effective with it and went back to using it a lot in cyro about a month or so ago - love it in tight spaces...I've definitely used it to run away on occasion too :#

if you have some decent weapon damage going on - you can do some serious damage...it takes a while for me to get used to it because most of my characters fight at range...

once you ww out, every one and their mother starts trying to root or trap you...I've never really had a problem with poisons, just folks sticking me to one spot...

haven't really tried out any other the different armor sets geared for ww's though...would love to hear how effective the one is that gives you extra weapon damage...

most importantly - it's a lot of fun...

I think the most fun a WW ever had in Cyrodiil was in Lagajack or some other old campaign when no one that stayed in Cyrodiil exclusively had really seen a WW in a long, long time.

We'd just beat back an AD horde and were standing around repairing walls when suddenly a WW jumps down among us.

Blueberries scattered everywhere in terror of this insane mob that had gotten inside a keep and we couldn't hit!

Turns out it was just another DC player who decided to prank us with a WW transoformation. But scared the bejesus out of me and most everyone else present.

i wonder about how much fun it is for vampires in pvp.
im a vampire, and i don't find pvp fun with all of weakness to fire damage and low health recovery.

    edit:
    it's not fair

The only issue I'm noticing with WW these days is that everyone and their pet goldfish is running some combination of Veli/Viper. When those proc at the same time, Werewolves get deleted.

Im not set up for WW, I use Spriggs / Vicecannon for Bow sneak attacks. So only the Spriggs was effecting me in WW. i did feel like I did a ton of damage, even light attacks with claws made life bars drop fast. For the most part anyone i pounced and did the knockdown attack to didnt get away

If someone uses werewolf form against my NB I just turn invisible and stay stealthed until they revert form, it's funny cause they just waste their ultimate, It's amazing how useless werewolf form is against a stealthed player.

Whoever told you that living death was fun told a lie, there is nothing fun about being the living dead in PvE or PvP, do not feel envious of the werewolves and their ability to run around on all fours like some kind of barn-yard animal, their mortal existence is beneath us vampires also they can keep their fleas and their poison weakness to themselves.

While somewhat true, viper does do more damage roughly 10% more damage against Werewolves, Veldreth does roughly (disease damage not poison) 15% less, so overall I don't notice increased poison damage.

And only idiots stand near the person they are fighting when they are using one.

QUICK TIP: Never stand near the enemy while in stealth, what is a werewolf going to do against that?

Werewolves are most effective in groups, they always have been.
A dozen or so Werewolves has always been devastating.

What is a werewolf going to do against a stealthed opponent 40m away, The same thing that opponent is going to do to the werewolf nothing....

No they are just going to stay stealthed while the werewolf form runs out, that's what they are going to do, that's my whole point, a werewolf is useless against a stealthed player so you might as well not bother using the form as the moment you turn they can go stealth out of your range and wait for your form to run out and then they attack.

Thats why i always hit them with Peircing mark before i go WW. If I think i have time or am going to intiate the attack i put blur up, Rally, and Piercing mark on them before I WW.

But yes against any other class besides a NB just staying hidden works
