I'm on the PS4 and planning to run VMSA.
Currently running with 5 VO 2 veli 5 Red mountain (red mountain sharpened daggers and 3 jewelry)
I switched to 5 nightmothers and 5 VO 2 veli and I just noticed an additional 200damage per tick on my rapid strikes..
Red mountain procs a lot it's 7k white damage and 11k crit damage. A lot of people were saying that nightmothers is better but it's only a 200dmg difference per tick compared to a 7-11k extra dmg on the red mountain. Unless I'm testing it on a wrong monster.
Oh just a side note if there no armor penetration cap.. should I keep on stacking armor penetration cap and change my veli helm set to kraghs?

I have no evidence for this but from what I can gather from reading about, vma mobs have anywhere from 12-18k resistances with some bosses possibly having upto 25k. Take this with a pinch of salt though. The dk boss at the end of stage 8 is squshy af, she takes 48k overloads lol. The titan is less squishy though, usually get 38k overloads on him, same with final boss. I run vma with 17k spell pen.
No bosses only have up to 18200 mobs always have less. I cant remember the exact since each mob is different.
In vma however the bosses have 12k. But rest assured no boss or mob has over 18.2k, and in OT it's all been normalized, so vet dungeon and trial bosses all have this.1

✭The goal is to reduce physical and spell resistances by stacking penetration. There is no cap to the amount of penetration you can stack technically, but if you reduce the enemy's resistance to 0, any additional penetration is of zero benefit.
The value we're looking for here is 18,200 - this is the amount of physical and spell resistance that most mobs have inside of trials. There are some exceptions in overland content, but most have the same. I'm not sure which overland mobs are different, only that there are "some."1 -
What about in VMA? Is it the same? Oh and just wanna ask off hand weapon sharpened counts of just the main hand?0
