Golden Cyrodiil Vendor and Maelstrom Weapons: Only These Traits if It Happens

I've seen a few posts asking for the Cyrodiil golden vendor to carry Maelstrom weapons, as well as plenty of vMA people opposing that idea. I personally like the idea of buyable Maelstrom weapons, but there has to be a drawback to not working for your weapon.
I suggest that the Golden Vendor carry a random Maelstrom weapon (or a package with sword+shield), but only in one of these four traits: decisive, charged, defending, or infused. The weapon and trait for sale will be up to RNG. Fancy Maelstrom weapons with nirnhoned, precise, or sharpened can be obtained in vMA itself.
Each weapon or sword+shield package will cost 250 thousand gold or 500 thousand Alliance Points in purple quality.
In correspondence with Maelstrom weapons being buyable, the drop rate of sharpened, precise, and nirnhoned weapons, as well as powered for the restoration staff, is to be increased a good amount, giving the hard workers in vMA more reward. The difficulty of vMA is to not be changed.

If it's not sharpened it's basically useless.

Unless the occasional build that uses something for offhand.

Or they could just not have them drop in disgusting traits without putting anything on the vendor. At the very least they could increase the drop rate of Sharpened based on demand.

VMSA is mentally hard, I'm stuck on last boss, and frustrated to hell but also peversely loving it if I complete it ill have earned that weopon. These should not be for sale.

Will I handle grinding it to get a perfect trait. Unlikely.

I had a thought tho, that first complete you should get huge XP at the end, or a skill point at least or a Sharp weopon guaranteed first pass just random type, then back to RNG. To really reward those that have pushed thru and done it once

Personally i hope they will never sell maelstrom weapons or VO and AI jewelry at a vendor.
It gives a reason to strive and get better in order to beat it and adding another rng option doesn't really help much with the core problem anyway.

Why do you think you need the maelstrom weapons so badly?
Sure they are bis but not required for anything really and eventually you'll get one and eventually there will also be the next big hard to get bis peace of equipment.

That's the point. It also makes you a much better player when you have learned to manage the arena.

If people can't even clear VMA, they have no use for the weapons.

I just want a 1set weapon(s) that carries the 189 wep dmg bonus, i couldnt care less about the vma enchant. Give pvp ppl some bis weapon without having to do boringass pve.

I am also stuck at last boss and force myself to take a break from it after i realized i was raging like a lunatic while playing a videogame. I love it and i hate it at the same time. I think the "maelstrom arena, there's nothing like it" is quite accurate it really teached me alot lol

The idea of selling these weapons on a vendor would simply kill the content.

It would be nice to see the community giving better ideas to deal with the RNG... Or see ZOS fixing the main issue which is 99% useless traits on items.

It has nothing to do with "boring PvE". It's a test. Complete it or use crafted staffs, they look cooler anyways.

You actually do get a skill point when you complete it for the first time.

I persevered and completed it. Best score 415k. Now i try farm it for the weapons i need.

It should be hard. Its rewards are worth the effort. It makes you a better player all round.

No to golden vendor. Earn it.

I've seen people complete it on less than 300 CP. Because they spent TIME & EFFORT in that arena. So no, it's not impossible to overcome. All you have to do is work for it.
So no, I do not think they should add vMA weapons to the Golden Vendor. Git gud, stop wanting everything served on a silver platter. Besides, you're better off with a random sharpened staff than a non-sharpened vMA staff for PvP anyway.

Not that hard 1st time i forced myself and played 11 hours to learn every stage now i can do it 45- 50mins actually its not that hard you just need to invest time and force yourself than 2nd time its easy and so on...

Also i forgot to mention u will spend tons of money that is the downside but if u get nice MSA weapon it will be forgotten.

youre the type of guy who should never even have the chance to get these weps, u dont actually understand that the unenchanted versions are only good if ur using poison, else the +wep dmg glyph beats the static dmg increase every time

Im a hardcore pvp player but i still worked for my maelstrom weapons. Got most of em besides sharpened maul, daggers and inferno staff. Just work for it already!

You will get a powered bow or a training resto staff. You will put them in your bank and look at them from time to time and then when your bank gets full you will vendor them. That will be the reward you earn.

I usually run at 100ping but get these microbursts of lag that don't register on the counter and look just like that. Walking around and then dead to unknown. When the microbursts linger it reaches 300ping. That dungeons ego is writing checks their server can't handle. I wish I could say I was earning it but it feels more like suffering and begging for pity from our RNG overlords.

And it wasn't for the people that started running it for the first time? People shouldn't be lazy, do the content or don't get the weapons. The whole golden vendor needs to go, I ran my tail off in white gold tower to get my kena, then over night noobs galore were running around with it on, that probably couldn't beat normal spindleclutch.

we can get the cp 160 gear from the golden vendor in cryodiil.
the same should be for malestrom weapons.
all cp 160 and all gold.

As someone who hasn't beaten vMA, I am 100% against this. If you want even the crappiest of traits on your Maelstrom Weapons, then beat it.
