What new Dungeon sets can we decon? Sick of Inv mini game

Does anyone maintain a list of Dungeon BoP sets that are absolute garbage and can be deconstructed? I now have so many pieces of random gear that I can only complete a couple of sets with the right traits. Otherwise it's just store set pieces until I get the traits that I need. This a result of the absolutely TERRIBLE loot system that they have, and I cannot stand Inventory mini games.

I need more storage or need to know what is absolute garbage to deconstruct it. Ideally I'd like to keep a set of everything to try stuff out, but I am getting aggravated with the inventory issues again.

I try to find 1 or 2 crafted sets that any given character wants to save.

I funnel those bits to that chracter, and when say, the "pet sorc" has all the bits of Necropotence, it's easy to destroy duplicates. I start this at very low level (lots of characters) and only save CP 160 sets (I sell or decon everything else) so it cuts down on chaos.

    A bit.

    I'm such a packrat... it's not easy.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...

Oh I get that. The way I do it is to mail it to my other account (you can use a friend in game) to "return" with the character's name in the title. I don't keep track of it at ALL till I login with the character in question.

I also (recently) started to make a mental list of traits I don't want; initially I saved Prosperous, Well-fitted, sturdy and so on because I was so paranoid of wanting "all" the bits.

I just think it would be cool that if you found the set piece you could then craft it for yourself only.

For example, I find Viper boots medium/infused. That would save they Set/Weight/Trait info, I can then come back and craft it at any time for myself. Basically I'm not immediately using it so I can decon it, but pay the cost of materials to create it if I ever need to. I really wish ZoS would implement something like this.

Please ZoS, I beg you, end the inventory madness it just irritates people.

Set Tracker. I use this addon soooooo much now, makes it trivial to see what pieces you have in which traits and on which alt. Highly recommended if you're playing the collect-many-sets-across-many-characters-and-mules game.

Inv. management isn't the most fun thing to do but it is needed. There's no reason to keep everything. It may require too much effort for some and that's why people want the easy way out.

Don't keep everything you find. Do some research, what sets would work for you, what traits do you need? Search for those items.

There's no reason to have a monster helm in each weight with every trait, that's rediculous.

If you need room create a mule character, hold misc. Items on them till you can piece together something you want.

Simply asking the devs to spend time on something because the player doesn't want to manage their inventory Is rather foolish.

You want to be able to craft EVERYTHING you can find? That's not a realistic option.

If its a set I'm really not going to use because it does no better than the set I'm currently using then deconstruct.

Some I have been keeping with the right traits to mix and match and try out within my builds but only certain ones that I feel could make a difference.

If you really don't see yourself using the gear then save space and deconstruct. If its good traits, someone may make use of it, stick in in the guild trader.

Unfortunately I am one of those people that would decon set XXXX, then the next day a new awesome build would need the set in PvP or PvE. And of course I have an alt of each class.

Inventory Insight is also good, as you can do a text search across all your alts, banks and craft bags

    gotta learn 'em all!

I use mnemonic devices such as "spelunker, pure junker" =P

I now have 11 alts mules... over the weekend I finally arranged them to where a single alt holds all my light gear, another the medium, another the heavy, another all those treasure maps I'm hording, like 3 for craft mats, on and on... one guy just has random crap... I'm terrible XD

But I will say, if you really do wanna save what's good, or what could be good with a minimal balance update, you should learn the sets and divide gear mule inventory up by gear weight, imo. Makes mule life easier. Except for monster sets, in which I have one alt hold all of them for ease of access, given their weight-fluid nature.

(I should mention I'm on console, and didn't Plus)

So.... I went full nerd.... I made an excel spreadsheet. Armor sets I'm after, vMA weapons, monster sets, all organized by set and trait. I just did a section per armor set, and listed all possible traits and just put an x in the corresponding block for whichever piece i have. I'll let my bank get kinda full and then in one go, update my spreadsheet and put the sets on alts. Works, takes a little time, but I don't grind for a piece I have and forgot about.

I also use the Set Tracker add-on along with Inventory Browser add-on... very useful for checking which of your characters is holding which set items. My only beef with Set Tracker is that it does not show armour type (light, medium, heavy) or the level of the piece (not a problem if you only store CP160 gear).

While some of the sets are straight out junk, what to keep is really a build and role specific thing. I would suggest picking a set or two you want to try and decon everything else. If you want to try something else later, go and farm for it at the time rather than keep everything just in case.

I initially started to keep everything. Then I only kept items for the sets I might use and deconstructing everything else. As my inventory became too cluttered, I decon'd the green items, then all prosperous and training items regardless of colour, then any blues that were not in divines, infused or impen.

I am up to a point where I also deconstruct anything that is not purple and my inventory is still full. Unfortunately nearly everything I get is now BoP so I cannot even sell it or give it away. I'd be in a real mess if I did not have the craft bag.
