Dungeons: Remove the Barrier

I personal in my arrogant opinion believe that the barrier that prevents players from selling Dungeon set items in Guild Traders, or with randoms outside of the 4 players within the group, that we had to complete the dungeon with needs to be removed. I played "Vaults of Madness" about a total of 52 times trying to obtain specific set items with certain traits. Luckily the randoms I played with happened to obtain 4 of the items for me, which I'm grateful or I'd probably would of played Vaults of Madness anywhere around 150 times by then maybe having the specific set items with correct traits or simply giving up on ESO.

I think the barrier needs to be removed, because the number of times played trying to obtain specific set items with certain traits is in my mind absolutely insane. Please make it so we can sell or trade outside of the barrier and make it easier for players to obtain their needed gear. Rather then wasting hours of game-play only playing one Dungeon over and over again with no luck.

    Undaunted Mettle
    • Increase your Max Health, Stamina and Magicka by 2% per type of Armor (Heavy, Medium, Light) that you have equipped.
    • Allows you to buy and sell from an Undaunted vendor (any BOP items you receive from group dungeons only)

I'd love that. Means that you still have to do the content to buy dungeon drops. Seems balanced, yet fair.

I believe that's the intent....earn your own set gear is now the accurate model which keeps crafters in business and allows other players to opt out and earn their own stuff.

Selling set drops should've been a think as you end up with ppl who have gear but who aren't capable of playing content.

If drops are vet only yes. Otherwise it's flooded with normal dungeon farmers over and over and everything becomes worthless and mode 2 also.

    Agreed.
It wouldnt be a problem at all if people could just sell unwanted items.
And that would be nice for game's economy as there's no valuable items atm that arent materials, or, in rare occasions, specific weapons with specific traits.

What do you need to make money if you cannot buy anything worthwhile with it?
I have spent more money in inventory space since all of this BOP stuff turned up than I have spent on anything else.

Preferring BoE over BoP is not about the ability to make money for me, it is about being able to sell the pieces you don't want/need while possibly buying the pieces you cannot find. Whether you cannot find it due to RNG, dungeon difficulty or lack of ability is irrelevant.

It is no different to people buying crafted sets because they are too lazy to research and level up crafting, or would prefer to have fun in PVP instead of farming materials, surely they are also using weapons and armour they haven't earned. If someone wants to farm dungeons/world bosses/dolmens for items to sell, this is no different to farming for materials and ingredients to sell.

Reading what you wrote. It's as I interpret. It's about making money. It's VEERRYY different than buying crafted sets.

Freaking research a lone is a process that take over a year even if you also have to travel to the spots, have the materials and even have traders as well.

Those two in no way are similar.

I feel your pain. I usual Q for dungeons and I open up chat with what I want and willing to pay for said item. 99% of the casuals will jump on the gold & since I have more gold than grind time it's a win win
