I need help making a PVP templar build that uses blazing shield. I guess to use plague doctor and Reaction set? But what would be my champion points and skills?

Several builds online and some in combat mechanics section. There's also a few good youtube videos that give pretty precise info.

Beekeeper, the armour I for some reason can't recall that gives the massive health boost (not Ebon). Enchants all in spell reduction and health.

I'm pretty sure that's the basic template. A bit boring to play though.

Mine uses Seducer and Plague Doctor. Blazing shield is expensive, but with channelled focus and seducer I can keep it up basically indefinitely.
For the monster set I switch between Swarm Mother and Malubeth depending on how bad the zergs are. Even with Seducer I have 58k health in PVE, so around 63k in Cyrodiil, which is plenty.
Malubeth is nice for the lack of healing you'll have. When you're low and Malubeth procs, drop down a focus, pop invigorating drain, and watch the 12k heal ticks ensue.

It's nearly impossible to kill a tank with 63k health running Invigorating Drain that healing tick is unholy.

Malubeth is still broken unfortunately, so you'll get giant healing ticks just from using that monster set. But since ZoS hasn't fixed or even acknowledged it in 6+ months, I'm beginning to consider it a "feature" instead.

Pretty much man. Most of the time I barely even need to use drain, because Malubeth will just heal me from 15-20% to full in 2 seconds (not always, it only seems to bug out when it feels like it).
I had it hiding away in my inventory waiting for a fix that never came, but I've had enough. At this point it feels like ZOS consider the set working as intended, so we may's well use it and not feel bad about it.

Anyone that's using malubeth I'd recommend to try grothdar. I too have the malubeth 2 piece and have since put it away once I've aquired grothdar.

Truly amazing for any BS tank that's aggressive.

Ironic that this is the single one build that the Dragon's Blood spell would actually be pretty good for.

Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

I'm not really familiar with that morph tbh. Does the damage from it scale from max health like Blazing?

So many thing works with BS.

    One I like is Malubeth/Thunderbugs/stormknight :)

You need the new witch regen drink though ...

    Something more aggressive ?

Rattle/Swarm or Grthdar/Trainee (btw ... trainee let you try so many things ...)

Still with regen drink ... only 50/55k health but 2/2.5k spell dam

My blazing shield build will be using 5 piece Green Pact and 5 piece Plague Doctors. Since most people claim the biggest weaknesses to the build are crowd control and ranged, I'm going to be running 2 piece Swarm Mother and immovable potions as well, mwuhuhahahah! Also, my character will be Argonian for the increased healing/received and 12% of max resources refunded on potion doses.

@kidly I run the exact same set up and am having a blast zerg surfing. It works very well. Good luck finding the pact/plague doctor legs, I literally had to search almost every trader in Tamriel to find mine. Not sure what's up with the drop rates, but it's definitely the rarest piece.

I already have the gear. I just have to level my Argonian. I'm doing a faction Skyshards and Public Dungeon tour to avoid quests so should I decide I want to grab any champion 160 gear from quests. It's slow leveling a tank but at least I'll have all the skill points I'll ever need.

Currently its total trash. There was a short time it was stupid OP and zeni crushed it into uselessness around 1.3(?)

Definitely sounds like something they would do. Something is OP? Nerf it into oblivion. Something is weak? Make it OP.
