How about a gift for the patch waiting time ?

I remembered, in the other MMO you had some gifts like more xp - potions - crafting tools for time lost about waiting for patching.
TESO has the worst waiting time about hotfixes/maintenance. I wonder if it oculd be a good idea, a good balance, to give some gifts every time something wrong happened.
What do you think about that guys ?
Instead of complaining for their work, let's try to find a good solution.
PS : if gifts will make new maintenance/hotfixes to come for resolving the bugs they bring let's forget all these ahah

I have no problem with hotfixes being applied whenever necessary, and merging the routine patching into the same downtime makes a lot of sense.1 -

The forums are full of people who are making two arguments
1) I have been negatively affected by maintenance
2) I know a better way ZOS could do it.
These suggestions for compensation (there are several) are a combination of both complaints.
My opinion is... good on ZOS for jumping on an issue. I trust them that it was necessary, otherwise they would have waited to scheduled maintenance.
Do you remember the weekend the cheat engine was a thing, the forums went crazy, but ZOS worked over the weekend to fix it.
Maybe, just maybe, they have prevented a problem like the cheat engine before most of us realised there was even a problem. We don't deserve compensation when they have done a good job.#1 tip (Re)check your graphics settings periodically - especially resolution.3 -
