Delves are NOT FUN in One Tamriel

    Yes it will settle down in time but they could and should have predicted this and done something to prevent it.

    I don't see the problem here. I for one enjoy running into other players in Delves.

    Yeah, it is a lot more fun to be in there with other players than to do it alone. Just being in there with other players, ungrouped, is a reason why I like playing ESO. Not that the delves are particularly hard (anymore) but, it is nice that someone is there to help, or to be helped.

    Agreed. They really feel like such wasted potential. Ive always thought there should be more to a delve then roll around kill a boss get a skyshard and leave. I guess they added boss farming but that isnt a whole lot.

    If you made them group instances that would be really awesome. You could do them with however many people you wanted. And if you wanted to farm with random other people there would still be Public dungeons.

    Although if you did make them instanced i suppose there would be people complaining they cant kill the boss alone and they dont want the hastle for just one mob.

    Met a lot of people that became friends in delves when the game had just come out. They are better when you have the feeling of being alone, but bump into the occasional player. It was also nice seeing another player back then since we didn't know what we were doing and had a harder time clearing them.

    I rather prefer to see people around instead of an empty game. I don't play online to be secluded.

    Delve bosses need to be harder (able to 2 man though). That's my contribution to this thread.

    CP 400-561 players need to be facing a lot harder enemies for one thing. The game should be equally difficult for players of any level and right now high CP players are still just torching delve bosses before you can hardly get in a hit.

    Just because it was less fun for you doesn't mean it was that way for everyone else....

    I agree with the tittle, but not with the OP, i dont like delves atm. Speccially as tank if you take your time to clear it, once you finish boss everything respawns again and you gotta choose, kill, tp out, or run thru at the risk of crossing people and leaving all your aggro on them. I usually end up finding someone coming with aggro too and i stop and kill everything with this random person and we keep going each with our clear path, but this is rather discomforting since i'd most likely want to be done with it once i already "cleared" it entirely..

    This is probably 1 of the reasons that keeps most folks rushing thru it and skiping most of what they can. After all it IS-THAT-EASY :neutral: .

    Umm...this problem has been ongoing since the launch of this game. It's a design flaw, not a player flaw. Non instanced game play is what's wrong here.
    I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
    Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.

    It's not a flaw. It's a feature. Half the fun of an MMO is in the "MM" part. If everything were instanced, then you may as well just be using a chat program while playing a single player game.

    IMO, ESO hit a pretty decent balance between instanced and non-instanced content.

    Good for you. As of this morning I'm still finding them with a lot of people tearing through them.

    Yep I figured seeing at this was still a recent thread, best to add to it rather than start a new one.

    I also prefer to see people around, however part of the Elder Scrolls experience is exploring and clearing the dark nooks and crannies of the world. Above ground yes, I agree with your sentiment entirely. In delves no, I disagree, I think it ruins the experience of them.

    I enjoyed delves far more when VR zones were a thing because it felt like you were the only one who'd "discovered" it because they were typically empty.

    Delves was never really fun IMO - bosses always melt regardles and it's just a place I pop in to grab a shard and now a guild mission....

    No legendary death claw in any of them :wink:

    Uhm people are farming bosses for set pcs not skulls, loot from the festival has dropped to dismal prices.some you can't even give away.

    you can still be stealthy even with other players there. you can even "use" other players to distract the enemies and walk behind them in stealth, adapt!!

    After having run with a group of 15 - 20 in a group dungeon, and also dolmens; I have to disagree with you. Sitting at one boss spawn was neither more nor less effective (due to loot cool down), other than being easier on the nerves and being able to make some new friends while sitting around.

    The high CP people that do this are just jerks. Period. I only ran into a couple this event who basically told the lower levels 'git gud' when asked not to pull the boss away and annihilate it. Not a big deal to go somewhere else since these kinda' idjits aren't eveywhere.
