There could always bee a remote village or city hidden in the mountains. Remember the Dawnguard DLC to Skyrim? The whole Chantry of Auriel?
YES! And they should be an EP race. AD can have Maomer and DC can have Wood Orcs.
There should be an "other" and i would pick Dwemer.
Maybe with the release of the Clockwork DLC the Dwemer race is reintroduced to Tamriel.

After the Nords almost exterminated the Snow Elves, forcing them to retreat to the depths and then taking Skyrim for themselves, how do you think they would react to seeing a bunch of them suddenly popping up in Skyrim? They are supposed to be dead/twisted into the goblin-like creatures we know as Falmer. We know they are not all dead/twisted because we played Skyrim, so we know there are few of them in hiding. But that's not something that the general population of Tamriel knows.YES! And they should be an EP race. AD can have Maomer and DC can have Wood Orcs.
After they were almost completely killed off by the Nords? Sure, why not, the EP races have a history of hating each other already
Altmer and Maormer are at each other's throats all the time, with the Maormer frequently attacking the coast of the Summerset Isles and trying to take them from the Altmer. The Maormer killed the previous Silvenar.
If any playable race is ever added, I think they should be like the Imperials and be able to pick any alliance they wish. There should be an "other" and i would pick Dwemer.

They are gone. There is one known living Dwemer and he spends several years looking for other Dwemer, to no avail. Having a bunch of them suddenly running around would be even worse than Snow Elves.

I'm trying to figure out what point you are trying to make. That the existing alliances are based on love, mutual respect, common interests and not trying to kill or enslave each other?
In case you didn't realize it, the alliances are based geography. I.E, who is my next door neighbor! regardless if I hate them more.

..and if your snowelf magicka build reaches lvl 50 a full Winterborn set + Icehart + sharpened Frost Mahlstrom staff should pop up in your inventory.
May I ask a question that might be a bit off topic? Are there Falmer in this game? I'm rather new to it and haven't come across any. I'm a level 26 Imperial DragonKnight in the Daggerfall Covenant. I played up to level 20 as a Templar Imperial in the Ebonhart Pact and didn't come across any there either before I started over. I'm not sure I've found exactly what I want to do with my character yet so I keep switching it up. Thanks!
