So we are 55 dollars in now, and that doesnt include a name change either, if I wanted a name change, it'd cost me another 30. So to completely remodel a charatcer it costs you around 85 bucks....

The solution here is, deal with what you give yourself. There's a character creation screen for a reason, you are given the time to be as happy with your character as you can be. You weren't meant to be able to just up and completely change them after the fact originally, but Zenimax gave into community demand, but things always have to come at a price right?
If you were so intent on recreating your character as a new race with even a new name, then you would have been better off just creating a new Argonian.
And, correct me if I'm wrong, but the Race and Name Chance token is actually only $35.

Wow...my rent is a solid 4x that, and it's only a 1bdr apt haha. Maybe city life isn't all that greatStoopid_Nwah wrote: »Where the heck are you that rent is <400?! Live in Iowa, there are a lot of new prefabs that rent for cheap here. I own my house but there are a lot of new developments going up with pretty affordable rates and such. Its nice to see actually.

Not to mention you're acting like your REQUIRED to spend your money, if you don't want to spend your money, don't spend it.
Yet you're one of the only people I really see complaining about the prices, yes it's heafty, but it's supposed to be a premium service and not one that you should be able to do every day. And if zenimax felt they weren't making enough money, they would have lowered the prices already, they have the numbers, you do not. Who do you think knows more, the developers who have EVERY single number and total amount of money gained openly available to them, or some random guy on the forums?

Lol risk getting banned or info stolen? TKe off your tin hat, i personally know more than 10 people who have bought both the game and explorer pack from g2a, so when you buy the game on steam you get banned?
So what's the healer's original race?
Anyway, ZOS is basically giving DLC away now, so don't waste money on it. ZOS is probably going to start giving away additional character slots away. But even if they don't, that's still the best strategic purchase in the game. The more characters you have, the more likely you are to have the right tool for a specific job.
The only thing I feel ZOS should give away is free voice changes, because I feel the samples are misleading compared to the actual in-game audio. You shouldn't have to nuke a created character because it sounded cute in the preview but actually sounds like it's vomiting in combat.

Ive noticed that too, the sample audio files are pretty inaccurate when compared to the rest of the library ingame.
The original race was wood elf.
You could build a tank build around the Bosmer then create a new healer. That would avoid the DPS queue bottleneck from both sides.

I am simply pointing out facts that have worked, and been proven on a macro-economic scale, for decades, yet you feel the need to sit here and be insulting. There are many, many instances where the company believes they know what is best, so they do what is best and the product, service, or company itself tanks faster than the titanic. Everquest 2 was one of them, so was Tera, WoW has been going downhill for years. They arent, and didnt listen to their customers and their customers are leaving, or have left already.
I implore you, buy a bag of watermelons, a box of light bulbs, anything really. Because as per this particular argument I make, everything is relative. No, I dont NEED a race change, but it would better facilitate the character and style of play.
People dont NEED light bulbs, but it makes carrying out tasks easier as it provides improved visibility. Take that batch of bulbs, and try selling them for 10 bucks each. I am sure you will quickly find people whom present the argument they are too expensive, and they can go to another store/merchant to aquire them at a price that is vastly more reasonable than yours.

Not once was I being "insulting". Also you bring up the point of emplying that Zenimax not listening to their customers will be their downfall, yet that's all they've been doing since Tamriel Unlimited has dropped. Customers (in large scale might I add) asked for dueling, they got it. Customers asked for normal dungeons to be upgraded to vet, they got it. You act like zenimax never listen to their customers, yet it's probably one of their strong points. If something is in high demand from the customers, you bet zenimax are gonna respond and work with the customers and players. What you want isn't in high demand, no one else but you is complaining about prices. I mean they purposely unprice their DLC so people can get ingame content at a cheap price and if they feel the are in an economic situation where they have extra cash to spend, they can. But in no way is Zenimax FORCING you to spend money on things in the crown store, everything the crown store offers you can get ingame and the cost of nothing (this only applies to things such as consumables and what not), it just might take a little longer. If you want a Race Change so badly then make an alt or stop being a cheap petty little boy and spend the money like everyone else. Case closed.

You're both being insulting tbh, but it's making for an entertaining read. But you, you are being an ***.
