What is Magicka DK's greatest weakness?

    I play my MagDK since the start.
    I run Silks of the Sun, Valkyn and Spellweave.

    In my opinion it is the lack of healing.
    - No movability: I think DK are meant to stand ground and fight until death
    - No damage: I run 5 light and dualwield, I hit 6-12k whips, additionally to the dots thats very good
    - No Substain: With light armor and earthen heart I think it's ok
    - No Tankiness: MagDK can be tanky without dealing a lot of damage, guess that right, just the other classes are broken

    But healing? Burning Embers only applies to very close targets, since you nearly have all the time a snare on you, I'm walking around like my grandpa in PVP. Not able to heal myself at a target when necessary. Deep Breath only works on multiple targets, not really helpful in small sclae situations. So what can you do? Right, healing ward. You are forced to use a heavy armor one hand and shield DK or a light armor DK with resto.
    Changes:
    1. GDB: heals for 33% of missing health + 12000 health over 5 secs (Healing scales only with Magicka).
    2. Flames of Oblivion: Fireball hits every 4 seconds instead of 5 and increase duration to 20sec.
    3. Burning Embers: Reduce the amount of healing to 50% of damage done, when purged it deals the inital damage again.

    That would enable DK's to run Dualwield+1H Shield, Dualwield + Destro or Destro+1HS.
    The Damage would be slightly increased and also the problem of purging Dots would be less worse.

    Additional I don't get the reason why every class or a lot of races get passivly increase spellresistance but not physical resistance. Spellresistance is always higher. Also there are way more sets to increase spellresistance than physical resistance. In my Opinion the Spellresistance in general should be decreased. Maybe Resolve from heavy armor could only give additional physical resistance.

    On my magplar, movability is a bit more efficient as I can eternally cleanse myself from snares, can do equal or more damage without over-investing in damage, I rarely run out of resources and I am exceptionally tankier.

    And anyways I beat 99% of all Magplars :smile:
    But yes, a heavy armor malubeth templar is a pain in the ass. But the fact that heavy armor is too strong and that Jesus beam needs to be nerfed is not a topic here. It's about the main issue of MDKs and this is mainly a selfhealing problem in my opinion. Movement really sucks, but well, I can live with that!
