No they have ruined TES lore enough. With Lawrence Schick being Loremaster I'm highly disappointed in him already. He used to be a legend in table top gaming now hes just another guy in the industry i can't trust.

No, I've got no interest in a snow elf. They wouldn't fit in lorewise.

At this time in history the Falmer have already become feral creatures lurking in the dark. Unless you want to spend all of your playtime blind and hanging out in some musty cave. Theres nothing else for you as a "Snow Elf".

Plenty of people play orcs, they are ugly as well and it's not stopping anyone from playing them.

Look, I love pointy ears and most of my characters are mer. But I vote no. For these reasons.

1) We have the full set of playable races from the single player TES games. So the existing offering is true to the IP.

2) Snow elves would be very difficult to sell in terms of lore. Maormer would make more sense.

3) Racial bonuses are already problematic. Another one in the mix? No thanks.

4) Making players pay extra to play an Imperial was outrageous. I had no interest in playing them. My first copy of the game was a discounted version which included them and I used the horse and convert to imperial style, but not the race. But no player should have to had paid more to play their preferred race from the single player games. Especially not in what was then a subscription game. Even now that the subscription is optional, charging players for an extra race option - which undoubtedly would come with godly overpowered racial bonuses - would likely not go down well with players.

Yes, they were twisted to the Falmer that we know from Skyrim by the Dwemer long before the time of ESO. Of course, they were always Falmer - Falmer just means snow elves. The name Falmer has come to be understood as referring to the degenerate creatures that they became after the betrayal by the Dwemer, though.
