    Are you the guy who kept following me on my chest run and every time i engaged a mob near a chest you jumped in and looted the chest while i couldn't interact with it (because somehow i'm still in combat even after the mob is long dead).

    Sometimes i really wish we could use the Blade of Woe on other players ...

    Doesn't always work though, plus in this case it would have been too late anyways.

    After the 3rd chest ninja move, i ported to another zone, but it's still annoying when someone blatantly follows you around to leech off of you ...

    In Orsimeri culture, taking the resource while someone else is fighting the mobs that are near it is consider a skeeving horker move.

    I mean, probably.

    Though I don't know. We do run pretty fast.
    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
    Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
    Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
    Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
    Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

    Um what? Orcs are known for setting up shop on Resources of other Kingdoms and Provinces...If anything theyre definitely known for stealing.

    I believe you stay in combat until your weapon glyph buff wears off. So if you have a glyph of crushing or weapon/spell damage on and it fires you remain in combat mode for the duration. That miffed me for a while as well and I figured it out when I was killing spiders/scribs and just mashing them with my weapon. Its the only thing I can think of that would cause the delay and harvest/interaction time.

    It's not a case of getting angry, it's more hilarity than anything. The desperation on show over the last few weeks during the Halloween event and now this truly boggles the mind. I let someone harvest an ore node because i felt sorry for him. S/he was following me around in an attempt to ninja the nodes and to do something like that, I can only assume those nodes obviously mean a damn lot more to his quality of life than it means to my in-game characters.

    I remember following someone that ninja looted a chest from me.

    Stole several nodes from them and every time they try unlocking a chest, I'd bring a mob to try and knock them off the chest.

    Was great fun being the jerk for a change

    I really don't care if someone takes "my" nodes. I don't, or try not to, take anyone else's...

    I would like to point out though, I do see an over abundance of people attacking monsters they don't need to before going to a node. Many times you can get the node either being completely unseen, or only being seen while grabbing it but still being able to get it before they hit. This is one of the reasons that I really don't care if someone "stole" a node. I think some people intentionally do crap like that just so they can whine in zone or on the forums.

    Nope you guys were just heading the same way. But you are now trying to rationalize your failure at getting the nodes as some sort of superiority to this person, yet there you are also trying for the same goal as he, to collect resources... See this pattern of thought alot with my patients, you need to work on it... PM me if you want advice free of charge.

    This is why I farm a lot in cyrodill,
    I never run into those same mouthy node thieves though - plenty of silk, rubadite and wood there. Come and see. I love seeing node thieves there. I can kill them and if there on my side let them die and not res them later.

    It would be very funny if they doubled the nodes there. We would have farming/pvp builds and requests for a helmet that spawns a banekin that harvests a node as you kill the enemy lol.
    PS4 EU 1200+ cp - I enjoy RP, Housing, PVE and PVP

    Xbox chat is filled with it as well, stealing nodes, leaving just worms etc. I choose to farm elsewhere. Would have been nice to get more alchemy nodes though. It's a waste of time to leave the junk, and it's a *** move. I never try to beat someone to a node, there will be others.
