Login error after being repeatedly thrown off server

Hello! I was happily racking up exp in Darkshade caverns with a group, when my game suddenly started to act weird and I started to get lag spikes. Then the server threw me off repeatedly, and I started thinking the problem is with my internet, but after checking my speed on Okla, it seems fine. Yet I keep getting a "login failed" error now every time I try to log back in. Extremely frustrating since I especially took of work to be able to make full use of the exp gains with the holiday event! Please please please can you get me back into the game ASAP, ZOS!

✭✭✭✭✭Completely reboot your PC or Console and try again. I have been in a couple of groups where a player had this reoccurring issue, and a full reboot sorted it.
The other thing to look it if it continues is to make sure your router is allowing the ports that the game needs. Google your Routers Brand and Model and the term Port Triggering for details on how to set this up. Don't use Port Forwarding, that is a pain to set up.

TheTraveler✭✭✭Thank you! Strange that it just suddenly started happening though... ..and I did do a full reboot of my entire PC and of my router before I started looking for solutions in support. (They just send a generic confirmation, btw - heaven knows when they'll actually get to helping me.)

If you log out in Cyrodiil, it can be problematical to get logged back in. As you have to wait for the same queue time as entering a campaign. It can also happen if you log out of your character in a busy place like Rawkla or Deeshan, although not all the time. You don't need to change zones in the case of the PvE cities, just run a bit outside of town before you log out (far enough that you have to wait 10 seconds to log out kind of thing)Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

TheTraveler✭✭✭Thanks for the tips. Problem is that I was busy doing an undaunted dungeon when the server threw me off. Next time it happens, I'll try logging in with a different toon and see if it extends to all my toons.
I suspect it let me in again once my group had finally kicked me out and done the dungeon without me or found a replacement...
