Very early morning - Is there anything I can do by myself to earn AP?

Hey all,
I am new to PVP, and am trying to get Vigor on my stam alt. The problem is that I do trials 5 days a week and I don't have a lot of time to PVP in "prime time". At the end of the day, I usually log in very late at night/early morning and play for a couple hours. Is there any way to use this time to gain AP by myself? There are very few people on at this time, so grouping is probably out of the question.

Repair walls?

You can repair walls to your keeps, which seem to deteriorate by themselves for some reason, take resources, though they don't give much AP at all, or sneak around IC killing people who think that its the perfect opportunity to quest at that time of day (or night)

I have actually made good friends this way, as I will not kill a person twice unless they initiate it. An EP and I once stood dancing and chatting at 4am for about half an hour, he is a great friend now, and I even converted him to the yellow side

Thanks for the suggestion! Ok, now for stupid question time (sorry!). How do I know if a wall needs repaired? Is there a visual clue on the wall itself? Is there a way to tell on the map if a keep has walls that need repaired? Also, where do I buy the repair kits?

@Syrani walls have HP bars. so just look at em and you'll be able to tell if they need repair.

Or you could you know just kill people. 1.5-1.8k ap per solo kill does not take long getting vigor like this

The quests offer AP. Not much, but something.

Some of them are scouting missions you can do solo, and are easier with a low population like at night.

I wish I could actually kill people (ok, that sounds bad - but you know what I mean!), but I am brand new, and don't have PVP gear. Any time I have tried, I last about one and a half seconds, maybe 2. I need gear and a lot of practice before any of that will be happening.

If you're worried about getting into the middle of a fight to kill people, just buy some meatbags or fire ballistas and shoot them from range. Chances are you'll hit enough people to net some nice AP. To be honest, I'm always thankful to have someone throwing meatbags anyway, especially over the healers.

If the map is absolutely dead and there are no walls to repair you can go to an enemy resource, siege down the tower and then solo the resource and repair the tower back to full. It's a slow process but a possible form of AP if the map is completely dead.
