Has Craglorn actually gotten harder?

Been away from the game for about a month (pre-One Tamriel) and was excited to get back in and tackle Craglorn with my brother. We thought the two of us could manage the newly, done-over Craglorn zone because of the perception that it was made to be more solo friendly. We got into one of the early quests that took us to a delve, and discovered the bosses were quite formidable, causing us to wipe a number of times. Fortunately, the quest items were quite accessible without tackling the bosses so we got through.
What puzzles me is that I recall soloing a number of spots in Craglorn before the changes went through, so I'm wondering if it's just that I'm rusty or have they maintained or increased the difficulty of this zone? Also found the anomalies quite formidable as well. Anyone have insights into this peculiarity?

I'd say everything but the group bosses has, you'll still need people round you to take those bad boys down. Other than that, you can wonder around til your hearts content. The group bosses across Tam have been buffed massively, just a pre warning. Most have 1.8 million health now and hit like a drunk mammoth

Craglorn is NOT easy. It's very doable solo, but even a fully specked 561 will have to pay attention and can wipe a few times. I like it a lot to be honest.

The Delves directly related to the Main Quest are Solo Friendly. There are some Delves that did not get the Solo Friendly treatment that used to be in the Main Quest, but are no longer required. Kind of screws up the Lore a bit. They were supposed to clarify the Journal so that you would not go into those group delves for the Main Quest. Which is exactly what I did, so I did the run and kite until they killed me method, got what I needed, and left. So, to that end, the legacy Main Quest for the zone is completely soloable, even if some of the delves in the quests are not. But, if you stick to just the delves you need for the MQ, then you will be OK.

World Bosses, much tougher, and you will have to wait and run with one of the groups up there doing those Anomolies and Nirn Mines. Group Delve Bosses, I can't comment on, but Sharpened is a trait you may want on your weapons now instead of Precise.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    I think it's a combination of factors:

    1. Before One Tamriel, Lower Craglorn was CP 110 and Upper Craglorn was CP130. A decked out CP 160 player with a reasonable number of CP had an easy time there.
    2. They changed some of the delves. Before all delves where instanced 4-person delves and were scaled as such, Now some of the delves are "open" delves where multiple players can go in and out. I think the "instanced" ones still have bosses that are meant for 3-4 players, but they are now also CP 160, when before they were CP 110-130.

All in all, I'm finding the zone really fun though!

The world bosses are a lot harder.

Group content is at top level so I'd say yes it's harder but the solo stuff is also harder depending on how you went about it before.

Absolutely yes. I drop my dailies there and then gtfo back to where I belong. I was so looking forward to conquering this place when it was officially announced that it was soloable but it is not.

Before T1, I had managed to clear 3 dungeons and claim their skyshards while on my own. Now? Not a chance! I have hundreds of CPs more than I had a year ago when I did this and I have all gold armour, weapons, purple jewellery sets and a nice PvE pure mage build.

Lots of people are applauding ZoS for this change and that is a good thing for them. It is nice to see Craglorn populated again but nirncrux is something still alien to me, :#

I still have a bit of trouble in Craglorn, but it's usually because I run around with a certain amount of reckless abandon and sometimes find myself in, well.. over my head.
