mailbox for instant mail

Can ZoS look into the option for "physical" mailboxes in game,
for the one and only reason that we dont have to reload characters every time we dont get mail from guild traders or other sources right away.

Imo there is also no logic in receiving mails sometimes right away and the other time you have to relog,
feels to me like it could get some improvement.

I do like the system the way it is. However, mailboxes for aesthetics would be awesome

I'd be happy with a "retrieve mail" button added that would basically mimic whatever part of relogging/rezoning it is that triggers the mail to do its thing.

This guy has the answer. Not sure why they wouldn't implement something like this.
This is just a nuisance that doesn't have to be there.

A usable mailbox next to every bank would be an awesome lore-friendly way to trigger mail.

Anything is better than the current "bought something from the Guild Trader...guess I need to relog or change Zones" system we have now.

This indeed sounds like a good solution that wouldnt be really hard to implement,
easier then making mailboxes like i suggested in OP.

So instead of porting to another zone to get mail, I'd now have to port to a physical mailbox? Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see the improvement.

Porting doesnt bring me the mail i am waiting for,i need to relog character for it.
If i "only" needed to port somewhere else to receive my (awaiting) mail i wouldnt have made this OP.

Mail Tip.......
Enter a Outlaw Refuge. It will "Pop" your mail and you do not have to re-log your toon. Easy.

A physical mailbox in-game would not help deliver mail faster. New mail would not show up there any faster than it does now unless a mechanic was added that performed the same refresh that occurs when we travel to a different zone or re-log.

A trigger could be added without the need for a physical mailbox. However, Zos may have reasons for not adding such a refresh and it would clearly be a low priority due to the low impact it would have on the game.
