We will ever have an app where we can see all our characters info, sets and stat, and maybe other helpful things like a link with the Guilds text chat and you whispers with other players and some link with all the latest news and some guides?

I disagree....and this is just my personal point of view.
I think if the game UI were drastically changed and the information you seek were readily available on screen but not intrusive, most would favor that type of experience.
Having exterior game apps only is cool if you need to do something in-game on the go.
I'm all for viewing characters and messing around with CP, skills and gear whether it's on or off the game but if you build this, then it becomes a topic of letting everyone else see your characters which brings about more elitism and other issues I'd rather not experience.
There's also the guild store topic which I'd assume would require a subscription.
Then it's three platforms and an app and website for Apple, droid, windows
That's a lot of work for what most want out of it.
Let's be honest, ZOS can't maintain the game and game servers as is.....do we really want developers split even more to other non-ingame projects for the remainder of the life of this game.
That's my thoughts. Some parts may be off base but it's how I understand things based on the developer interactions for this game and others that have had external API options and apps.-PC (PTS)/Xbox One: NewBlacksmurf

✭✭✭✭✭There are many chat apps out there that do the same thing without Zos having to lift a finger of open the severs up to an app.
Consoles may have limitations as in more approvals required and more e hassle for Zos to create such an app if those companies would permit at all.
Additionally, if Zos were to give players a chat app then some would want more. We would want to be able to manage research and guild traders.
May be best for Zos to pass on this one.0
