Collecting Sky Shards and Questing in Cyrodiil

Would it be too much to ask for a war/allinace free instance for us PvE players to collect our Sky Shards in Cyrolag and complete the NPC quests there, if instancing is not possible how about a war-free token from the Crown Store. I know I'm lame in PvP as I'm more oriented towards PvE as a non hardcore casual player who plays for enjoyment :p

Thoughts anyone? ZOS Please?

Seems logical as I don't care for PvP either.

Technically, the only thing stopping you, me and the others from getting Cyroddil Skyshards are the Alliance Gates, since 4 of them are locked behind AD's and EP's.

It's difficult because of the lag and the huge distances, yes it is. But it is doable. I did, in two different characters, I'm just waiting for the gates to open.

Im sure you can join a low pop campaign and not get hassled much. Look at it like a survival horror game where you dont really want to fight, it's an opportunity to hone your zombie apocolypse ninja skills. If you approach it like that it might actually be fun. Just cause you go to Cyrodiil doesnt mean you have to pvp, most fights can be avoided. And if not, maybe you take a few deaths. No big loss.

So you don't want to play part of the game but you want what's in it?

Fine. I'll take a raid instance with no mobs and just loot piñatas everywhere.

I was a bit peeved to see Cave Dweller achieve required me to go into Cyrodil. I don't enjoy PvP and ping at 300+ ms the whole time so, you know. Gank city.

Good advice :) +1, now I just have wait for 30 days before I can switch campaigns :s

Also high time that I level up my Support and Assault skill line, might as well get procced to death and have fun too.

I wished this all the time I was playing the game. Now I only want to know the exact campaign with opened Pact gates. I have only 2 skyshards left.
Just find abandoned campaign (like EU PC Spell Breaker) and do your PvE. You still can be ganked, yes, but it is not frequent occasion.

Not as bad as you make it seem, I appreciate the PvE element of the game more, the PvP elements are a bit overwhelming sometimes. I'll take your comment in good humor :)

This is hypocrisy. The PvE players in Cyrodiil still have to do PvE content. Quests, bosses, anchors etc. There will be no piñatas in pure PvE campaign.

But seriously, no. Cyrodiil is for PVP, and everywhere else is PVE. Let's keep it that way. If you're not confident collecting them yourself, join up with a group and just try to go around the main areas. There's usually lots of fighting along the bridges, at milegates, and around keeps (obviously).
It's very rare you'll find a PVPer in a delve, and if you do, try to ignore them. Chances are they will see your rank and not even bother, depending on who they are. People like me would leave you alone. We're not all savages.
I had a lot of fun adventuring Cyrodiil for the first time. I died so much - even to guards. You take the PVP out of Cyrodiil and I assure you it will be boring as hell. It's the thrill of knowing enemies are around that makes it all the fun.

Also, what platform and server are you on? If we're on the same one I'll take you around with my Templar tank. If you happen to get killed, whoever did it will probably ignore me so I can just resurrect you and we can continue on our journey. Heh.

PvE is quite difficult and has a rewarding feeling to be honest when mastered, the part I have about PvP is the personal grudges some of the troll players hold, and that sets my mood off

I agree with you. When I did do pvp. I find no enjoyment having pve players just die because they are farming shards. It did nothing for my enjoyment.

Pvpers who want pvers to die for the shards are just being selfish. No good reason at all for shards to be in this pvp zone. You are not going to change a person mind by having force pvp for skill points.

It makes zero senses from a game design point of view for this to be allowed.

Since most PvP'ers already have done all the delves and hardly go there because they port from keep to keep, most roads are very save.

I did all delves when Cyrodill was brand new and I didn't have problems back then. Just go there and collect them. Small chance you will see a PvP ganker. I think you will first encounter a PvE 'er like yourself who will start the fight.

SInce the shards and quests are already there and Cyrodiil is an important part of TES Lore, it wouldn't do much harm to have an instance of pure PvE.

Keep in mind man, that on the flipside, a lot of stuff we need is locked behind PVE. There's not enough skyshards and lorebooks in Cyrodiil to live on. We also need to farm Undaunted for monster sets and passives. We need to farm zones and dungeons for gear.
A PVPer will no doubt spend, at the very least, 50% of their time in PVE, if not more. I've noticed most of the people on my friends list spending less time in Cyro since One Tamriel dropped, because they are doing pledges and farming gear.
Have you seen the crap gear we get from PVP? It's got nothing on PVE stuff.
So just like you find no enjoyment in a PVP enabled zone, we find no enjoyment outside a PVP enabled zone. I think ZOS want people to experience both sides, so let's just roll with it.
If I could have skipped PVP I probably wouldn't have tried it and discovered I liked it so much.

And I only like PvP. I am being forced into PvE for skillpoints. And then from skyshards and quests and dungeons.

Also I want all the maelstrom weapons but I also have to PvE for that. WHO IS BEING SELFISH. It's the PvE'ers who want PvP-free cyrodill but don't want PvP'ers to have the goodies from PvE without doing boring stuff from it.

You have a good point and great way of presenting it, and to be honest I haven't given PvP a serious try so far. Thank you for your comment.
