Yeah I love it in PVE, but in PVP any viperblade will take a dump all over your face.

RM actually has better burst damage than Viper, if you build for it.
Equip Way Of Fire + RM. Slot Flurry and enjoy a 40% chance of RM and 80%ish for Way Of Fire, with a single flurry.
If you run RM and expect to be using anything else than Flurry, you will fail miserably though.

In PvE I like both sets. In PvP it just depends on how long it takes them to proc. An early proc and less experienced opponents will panic and do defensive and that gives you an edge. With good PvP opponents they know how to hang in there and it only gives you a small edge.
I find that VIper procs way more often in PvE than RM - with an AOE, FTC shows it on multiple targets in the same second. When I do RM it doesn't come up as much in my FTC using the same skills and rotations.
Also even though RM doesn't specify "meelee attacks", it doesn't seem to proc off a bow or range as far as I know.
About flurry in PvP - I personally use flurry in my PvE build and now that surprise dueling is a thing in 1T it is kind of a "finisher" for me. It's real cheap and fast. Sure there are better things to put on a bar for PvP but I'm not going to redo my toolbar every time someone challenges me to a duel.

... viper weapons are easy to farm alone. Fungal grotto is a piece of *** to solo. You can even farm 2nd boss on FG II solo as long as you can put enough aoe dots down so that when she chains you down the adds die

Is the set worth it for stamblade and does it proc only with crit rush, executioner etc. and not with light attack with bows or weapons not to mention ambush or suprise attack?
This set is easier for me to farm than say widowmaker cause i play a lot alone.
fun fact, it works with destruction staff as well. Super fun to use on a Mag Sorc when defending a keep. Procs often by force puls since it's 3 hits at once combined with heavy attack..
I run it on jewelery legs and staff to not loose to many stats from light armor passives. Gives 3k Stam instead of magicka which does help with cc breaking. Makes it ok to use bistat food in Pvp as a sorc, health/mana.
Seeing as its proc is fire damage it should scale of magicka and spell damage right?
I like it as a pvp set, it procs of light/heavy weapon attacks, poison inject ticks and endless hail/arrow barrage ticks. My only gripe is that it doesn't proc off axe bleed ticks but hey, can't have it all.
