I am coming back to the game, Sorcs are taking over. also...I feel like with this many people I don't earn the chest. I just try my best to hit one mob. This is not fun, I am starting to wish that they really did add a way to have the zones instance to myself or friends if I pick to do it.

Ah so it is a event. I thought they are farming it for the gear. Makes more sense, Guess I will just wait to do them until the event is over. I like to earn my stuff.

with the new(ish) arrival of 1T A LOT of people are farming dolmens and WB's and delves... easiest way to make sure u get a chest is to drop some form of AoE skill as soon as the boss drops... ull have to be fast with it though cause sometimes the boss literally dies in seconds ( depending on how many people are there ) ... I was at a dolmen a week ago that spawned a general and he literally died in under a minute

Just throw some AoE on the mobs and bosses or spam light attacks from a ranged weapon to land a hit and you get credit for completing dolmen and access to the chest.

Do you even have to hit the boss to get a chest? You have to hit the boss to be able to get loot from the boss. But i knowni have got chest and never touched the boss. I think just hiting something along the way counts. Although inhave a strange fascinations with the pinions so maybe that does it.

i always hit the boss just to be sure... im not sure on if its hitting the boss gets u the chest... but to be sure ( when on my magDK ) on the boss phase i drop wall of flames as the boss drops on his location, then on the 2 location of trash mob i drop an erruption and on the other side drop another wall of flames just to make sure i hit everything during that phase at least once

Just one area where being a pet sorc is very useful. Destro staff + pets + ultimate = win @ a dolmen. Don't even have to move from one spot most times.

I'm not complaining I love sorcerors and my Husband has a sorceror with pets but it can be confusing at Dolmens sometimes. I guess just aoe, a lot going on at Dolmens right now like has been said will probably quieten down.

That's nothing. Went to run a dungeon in Deshaan last night and came by a Dolmen there.
When the final boss dropped there were so many skeleton players standing in the spawn spot with their AOE ready that the boss was dead the instant he dropped.

A sea of skeletons. You couldn't even see the boss. Big noise, fancy particles, dead on the floor.

Doing 3% damage to the boss will net you a nice plunder skull if you're participating in the event, plus XP and achievements if it's a named boss. You still get the chest at the end if you participated in the pandemonium beforehand.

I also laugh at the poor souls who think that dolmens will go quiet once this event is over. Dolmens are going to be forever farmed until the loot that drops from them becomes saturated and not worth the time/RNG.

I came across at least three Dolmens last night (PC/NA) with no one there. Like thats no service, I would like that to be better coordinated please - make it so.

Seriously, it was nice seeing the monsters at least for a second whenever the undead army wasn't too big (and feel like you contributed a teensy bit, harr harr).

It's the events yes. But mostly it's developments fault for failing to make dolmens anything more than a completely boring battle. They're supposed to be one of 'the' events on landscape in this game, but they are so mind numbing boring and easy.

Why would stam sorcs run with pets? Or is I there a rise in Mag sorc due to Dest Staff ult?

LOL my first run in IC sewer a guildie was running with a 5-piece armor set that procs a monster pet. I think he was just trolling noobs, lol.

Probably a monster set. I can't remember any 5pc sets that actually spawn a critter, except that flaming sword. 2pc monster sets, though... there's a few.

They got to lower the amount of people per shard, or phase, whatever is it called. You think it's cause of the event? I'm not so sure, public dungeons, world bosses and dolmens are packed 24/7 without any sign of slowing down any tme soon, and they don't give massive xp after first completion, so I hardly doubt it's that.

I see what's really happening...everyone is using the double XP to level up sorcerer alts in the hopes that they will return to their former glory one day.
