Customer service getting worse`

Lol the customer service in this game is getting worse, or its they just don't care, my characters are all highly bug, i put an in game bug report (please remember i said in game), that skills like calatrops, revealing flare, basicly aoe skills do not proc at all. all there is, is the yellow circle and nothing happens. siege weapons when trying to put them down i see the little yellow circle no problem but its inside the ultimate circle and when you try and place down the siege weapon the ultimate goes of. then there is the skills lol, like lava whip, force shock, wall of elements etc ether do not proc at all or when they do the dps they put out like on lava whip can be as low a 20 dps, yes that 20 dps.

so with ether skills not work or setting or other skills or when going of, hitting like a damp squid and i reported all this in game, at least 20 skills or things going wrong with my character/characters, this is the response i got from zos customer care which is below my rant. As you can see they point me to web pages about quests etc or general gameplay, or they said to ask you guys to fix skills not working, do they expected for the community to pray to the heavens and shout to god fix this, they said gameplay guides would fix skill not working, how on earth will a guide fix something that is not working, it just does not make sense.

so then they say report in game (as you can see) but like i said i did report in game (this makes me confussed i reported in game they responed telling me to report in game, do they not read the report, it would seem they do not read them

they said the following to report in game, please report them using /bug while in game (which i did) and be rue (what!! rue, that means bitterly regret something one has done or allowed to happen and wish it undone) to fully explain what is wrong with the skill and how it should work, so lets us get this start they want me to report each skill that is not working, so that means all on the characters a min of 60 skills, as nothing works at all on the character since the character is bug, they then say i need to tell them what is wrong with the skill and how it is ment to work, what the hell they don't know how the skills work in there own game and they call them selfs an it department, if i was like that in my job in it i would get fired.

lol it just gets me, i will do a vid and put it up here tomoz to show you all, but this is a joke, do they not want people to play this game with this sort of response and btw here is thier response in full

    LOL. Most of those tickets never actually land in front of a human (or elf, argonian or khajiit, for that matter). The software parses the ticket, and then the AI (don't get me started on that irony) sends a reply based on words in the ticket that generally don't have the first thing in common with the actual issue you're raising.

    I submitted a ticket once for a named drop that had the spelling all mangled, and got an autoresponder message telling me I could, if I wished, go to one of several fan sites and/or wikis (that they don't support or endorse) and read up on various game mechanics that might help me understand the boss, as well as find itemization information for the weapon in question.

    Yeah.... Almost feels like you're dealing with the folks EA fired for incompetence at times, doesn't it?

    Hey, at least we don't have that idiot 'Customer Service Droid M0-R0N (formerly M0-T0)' sending us replies, so we haven't hit rock bottom quite yet. :D

    If you submit multiple tickets on the same issue.. A real person will eventually see it and see you've tried multiple times for help and you "might" actually get assistance. Usually works for me

    Good luck. I submitted a ticket to have my country changed so that I could renew my ESO+ sub.

    The response I got?

    An e-mail 24 hours later asking if the issue had resolved itself.

    Let's just think about that shall we? Something I cannot possibly change myself... might have resolved itself. I replied to that. Still no response.

    Nice one ZOS CS.

    I guess they have no interest in retaining what was, otherwise, an unbroken sub since PC early access.

    I remember not long ago, a guild mate shared their interactions with support and I cringed so hard. My friend had contacted them with issues regarding a technical error in the crown store, a simple issue which was needing a reset on ZoS's side. Three days passed and eventually he received a message informing him that 'Yes, there are plenty of ways to enrich your time in ESO, and you can learn more about crafting and exploration on our website.' Oh the fun we had with that.

    Here we go lol, an update i got a response from a real person about all the bugs on my characters (at least 20 of them) they said the choice is yours to report them in game, the choice is bloody mine what a joke, now i have to spend several hours doing bug reports, instead of them just looking at my characters to see what is wrong

    Thanks for contacting me back.

    Sadly, I do not have any other troubleshooting to offer you for these issues. I wish I did.

    As previously stated, it would be super helpful if you submitting these bugs in game via /bug. However, you are not required to do so. If you do not report the bugs, I cannot guarantee they will be fixed as the developers may never become aware of them. The choice is ultimately up to you.

    They are using a programme to create automated answers, obviously it does not work but on the plus side, given the current parlour state of ai I think the rise of the machines may have been a bit overblown.

    The best way I've found to get 'noticed' is to submit ticket in game (with screen shot option if applicable) AND to post in the tech help as well as the player help areas of this forum. The only issue I haven't been able to get resolved in this manner is the stupid Mannimarco costume hat not hiding, and I guess no one at all cares about that, so neither does ZoS.

    Posting in general discussion will do you no good at all... except moral support.

    i bugged reported my that entire character skills all of them where bugged

    i know have done vid all aoe's plus place siege weapon shows the outline not just of aoe but also ultimate
    plus i have had this character for 2 years so no its not me ;p

    What have you done to try to fix the issue? Remove (including any registry entries) and reinstall? Remove Add ons? Taken screen shots? Updated all of your drivers? Shut down all external programs and processes you don't need and only run ESO?

    The more information you provide the easier it would be to diagnose. If it were system wide there would be a lot more threads about it but since it only seems to be you, the trouble is on your machine somewhere...

    ZO$ haven't had customer support for quite some time, all they have is an automated email response system that attempts to reply using key words, if no key words trigger then it appears something random is selected although even the key word responses are usually irrelevant :(

    I don't think a company that has crap customer service should expect to have a long lifespan. But perhaps they already don't expect ESO to have a long lifespan.

    Not entirely sure what the primary issue is, but here's some random things:
    • Customer Support don't fix bugs; they can do quest issues, missing items, and so on because they have the ability to restore items and progress quest steps, but they can't fix issues with the game's code.
    • Issues reported by the /bug command are not replied to (they're forwarded straight to devs).
    • "be rue to fully explain what is wrong" is a typo; it should be "be sure to fully explain what is wrong".
    • Chet is a bot.

    Without specifics, the devs won't know what to fix. And that Support person is right; if you don't report the bugs, the devs won't find out about them. Your issues sound isolated though; I haven't heard of anyone else having those problems, meaning it is possibly an issue on your end rather than an issue that the devs can fix.

    I submitted a ticket in game that was cut off by the word count limit. Received a email asking if I could reply with details since the ticket was cut off...sure no problem. I reply with details and get a response back (from a different customer support person) that in the future I should submit these details in game and not by email...but your in game ticket system cut me off! So I replied back that they should read the string of message below, because I was asked to send an email since their ticket system cut me off.

    I received another reply, yet another customer service rep (on my 3rd now for one little ticket), explaining that the ticket character limit is an issue with PS4/XBOne and I should bring it up with them (or ZENI would be happy to pass the info on for me)...what! I didn't need a response for that. 3 customer service reps to process one freakin ticket... and only one of them actually knew what the heck they were doing...the rest just wasting my time.

    I tried to read OP but I just cant, cant make heads or tails out of wtf is going on. My expectation is customer service would have the same issue working out what the problem actually is. Pretty much what I got is-

    "DK skills broken on my dude, perhaps also other dudes, huge bug, AOE is garbage time" or something.

    I don't think CS can help you with that.

    If you type your tickets anything like your posts you arent going to get any help. You bounce all over the place and requires too much energy just work out what you're on about. You need to be clear and concise and exercise some brevity. A wage slave CS staffer isnt going to sit there and dredge through your rambling when there are other people to help.

    Have you tried making a new character? Does this happen on all your characters?
    If it does I would suspect that the problem is on your end.
    One thing you may want to try is to delete ESO from your system, and do a total clean install. If you are on PC I would remove it from your Registry.
