Option to Filter Sub-c160's from Veteran Dungeon Finder Matchups?

I know a lot of sub-c160's feel burned when they get auto-kicked from groups, and I TOTALLY get that... But I feel equally as burned when a couple sub-c160's keep me from completing a VETERAN dungeon without starting it over because they think my c537 healer is the real problem we can't complete a final boss. Most of the time a DPS is nice and realizes when he's the problem but sometimes... not so much. Can we please, PLEASE have a checkbox or something that allows us to queue for a VETERAN dungeon and NOT have anyone under c160 added to the group? Just an OPTION, okay? Because 99% of the time, a sub-c160 just CANNOT cut it on Vet dungeons, and I'd rather not waste either of our time. : /

I mean even better would be a box to enter a lower CP cap on people added, but you can only do so much before the queues get (more) ridiculous and they might if too many are setting absurdly high standards, so I understand if the checkbox is really all that can be feasibly done, but this is almost as ridiculous as when people automatically jump ship when they get queued for the DLC dungeons on randoms.

But would it not be better to join a guild as suggested to sub CP160s where you group with similar rank?

Can't always get guildies to help us, so my tank friend and I used the queue today and got a couple of REAL winners that kept blaming us for failure. The second run (where we started ALL over again) with a couple pubs over c160 worked much better, so I don't think it's that the dungeon finder can't work, just that the wrong kind of people are queueing for veteran dungeons and not realizing they're just too weak for them. I don't see the point of having a dungeon finder if it pairs you with people who have no chance of success on the particular dungeon difficulty. Taking the DLC dungeons out of the regular pledge rotation was good but I think something can be done about this too.

This is why me and my sub 160 cp friend always queue together.

No not really I'm max so once I hit 50 I'm up. But since my gf and I usually level together and like to do dungeons, I am sure there are several people cursing their luck at getting two level 10 dps.

But really I don't know what vet dungeon can't be done by dps under 160. Except maybe the dlc ones. Don't have any experience there.

Only people above level 50 can queue for veteran dungeons.

    Working as intended.

My experience is that you can get bad players at any CP so filtering out sub-cp160 players would change nothing.

Not really. I've just had too many bad experiences with DPS that drop way too frequently even when I'm tanking and somebody else is healing - there's just too many lower level DPS that drop if a boss so much as taps them once and then if the other DPS is likewise and they haven't taken care of mobs it tends to snowball out of control REALLY quickly. These guys didn't know how to stay out of the bloody red circles either so yeah, not my fault.

I've had terrible experiences with max CP pugs more often than sub-max CP pugs. Max CP pugs also tend to be more rude whe they aren't pulling their own weight, while the lower CPs take advice more freely.

I've had more bad experiences with high CP characters than with low CP characters

From my experiences, Low CP characters are new-ish and don't know the mechanics very well but are much more open to advice than High CP that think they know it all and can do no wrong. With the newbies, I don't mind explaining and teaching them to help them understand the fight so we can clear it (or at least get better at each attempt) but with High CP builds, all they do is complain or blame someone else because they can't do it and don't want to even try and listen to advice.

I really don't agree with filtering out players from content, just because they might not meet some ill conceived standard of compliance set by the extremist or elitist communities.

Well no I get it, and I tried to explain to these guys from today but they just insisted on bathing in red circles and blaming me for them getting one-shotted - you can't heal through that level of stupid no matter who you are. Most of my bad experiences unfortunately involve mute DPS' that aren't listening to the instructions, or not so mute ones that think everyone else is the problem but themselves. I get that they're squishy but again, I can't heal them through getting one-shotted no matter what anyone says. I'm not in any way trying to be elitist, just REALISTIC. Hence why I suggest an option rather than a hard requirement.

So to follow up on this.... you a healer, and your tank buddy... can't get 2 dps fitting your requirements standing in town and shouting in zone in about 30 seconds. No to much trouble, it makes more sense to make queue times longer for everyone by making the pool of players smaller.

Is it not a good thing that low cp players get the experience of playing veteran dungeons with higher cp players?
