What I would do personally, is allow people to train more than once a day, but at an increased gold cost. It would act as a much needed gold sink and give people other options.

This whole "I worked for what I have so you have to work for it as well" is freaking old
Don't like lazy then we can go with cheap. Main purpose of the cost for upgrading the mount is a good sink.
Maybe we can speed up uograding a mount. 500 gold first feeding and doubling each feeding within 20 hours of the last feeding.
It'll speed up the time to max a mount and make it s better gold sink.
I didn't pay gold for my mount speed, I paid real money for it. I just started playing, i'm not waiting months to be able to move around the world faster. I'd like to see it account wide because of the fact I paid real $$

That's just stupid you have to do that though. Any system that limits your character in a way that makes you not want to play it for months is just plain dumb. And outdated. That's like EQ-style grind just to prolong or gate. This just shows it's only purpose is to add tedium.
