You should take a 50% health penalty if you're standing on top of X amount of players.
Zerging is what makes large scale pvp absolutely awful, considering you can just run through players without getting blocked.
Although removing zergs would probably kill pvp since no one would know how to play any other way.

Players who can't handle the group dynamics of an MMO could always go back to playing Skyrim. You can solo everything on that game.
What if you can handle the group dynamics but you just don't want too. Group play doesn't give you a chance to really play your class and use all your abilities. The only thing is in group play it always comes down to who has the most people if the game is going to be like that if you outnumbered what's the point of playing. The server can't even handle large group vs large group.

ESO PVP is supposed to be a strategic war game. Large scale battles is at the root of its design. Zerging is not the problem it's the whole point of the game. I don't understand why sooooo many people don't get this.

I've been in a few possies of 6 and overcome groups twice as large. With a good ratio of tanks/healers/dps, a one hitting stealth scout and a good strategy numbers don't count for anything. This is role playing mmo style and is exactly what the game was designed for.

These are the COD mentality players that want to solo an entire army to fulfill their ego.
When vampire mDKs and Sorcs were soloing zergs back then they had no problem with the game.

That use to be a thing, but the only way that's possible now is if you have your own bomber and a couple heal bots, and ultimate bomb the larger group. It use to be fun to play solo I remember if I knew how to play and a player didn't he would be dead in a couple seconds. Now everyone is in heavy armor and has 30k plus health. And has acsess to do many snares it's just ridiculous. Just look at cyrodiil whoever has the biggest zerg has the most keeps. The alliance who wins the campaign doesn't have the best players they have the most players, and that's the direction ZoS wants to take their game in

I don't think it's that. I think it's that group play has lost its meaning. There use to be a time where there were battles all over the map you use to have multiple 15 to 24 man groups taking and fighting at different objectives. Now it's just whole alliance vs whole alliance and whoever has the most population bars is going to win. There's no more strategy to PvP. Ultimately it is ZoS's fault the servers are crap but some of the blame could be on us as well. Why do we as a player base feel like we need to bring 3 full 24 man raids to take a keep (unless it's a dethrone).

Thumbless zergling spotted. If you're consistently dying to Proxy & Soultether on a regular basis then your build sucks and your positioning needs work.

Surely the skill behind a stealth kill is escaping the wrath of your victims allies afterwards?
