Lazy? lol
This whole "I worked for what I have so you have to work for it as well" is freaking old

Cat Among the Pigeons - How many would you buy if they were 100 crowns for 10 lessons?

They've had these upgrades in the crown store for do long, I don't think they'd *** off the people that paid, on multiple characters, to upgrade their mounts by doing this

Unless I'm wrong. If those things in the crown store aren't selling at all and they want to remove them to make space for better crown store sales (smart suggestion here ZOS) then yes, in that case it might happen. But chances are slim.

Out of curiosity, when they changed it from being tied to a mount to being for the character - how did players react to that?
Do you find it fun the way it is right now? Could it be made better while keeping revenue options and not alienating long time players?
But yeah. If they make horse skills account wide, they might as well just throw the whole thing out the window and just max out all horses out of the box. Because there will be no point in the mechanic at all.
For what it's worth my feedback as a new player (3 weeks). The system, as I experience it now, is simply boring and tedious. I guess it used to be a bit more "immersive" as in feeding the animal (from what I read) - now all that's left is 180 times clicking a button on a 20 hour countdown with no noticeable impact. Maybe my sense are not fine enough, but I can't feel the wind in my hair after a 1% speed increase - I guess I should re-visit that in a little while with another character and be more frustrated.
Not sure if making it account wide will improve this much, other than limiting the mundane experience to a one time deal.
I don't pvp and I am sure there are factors I am missing - but would it make sense to simply cut the training by a factor of 10?
Instead of 60 times make it 6 training sessions per category (for 10 times the price). I might "feel" the 10% speed increase and be more satisfied with it plus the store offer can stay as it is as well (again cutting it to 1 session instead of 10).
Other than that I will keep on logging in to every character I'm planning on leveling, run/ride over to the stable, wait for the NPC to load and then click a button.

My suggestion is to cut down on cooldown by 50% so that you can upgrade your speed/stam/capacity around every 8h or so. It's just stupid that it takes 6 months to level all three up to 60.

That is why I build Alts 2-3 months out. As I said eariler, I am about to roll my last two character slots to start feeding horses. Toons are almost unplayable IMO without 60 speed and 30 stamina...

That's just stupid you have to do that though. Any system that limits your character in a way that makes you not want to play it for months is just plain dumb. And outdated. That's like EQ-style grind just to prolong or gate. This just shows it's only purpose is to add tedium.
