There is very little risk to running in a Zerg, bombing adds some risk, which is only a good thing. There should be more IMO, as every update seems to make it harder to run solo or in a small group.

If you want to play large scale it's fine, that's what the map layout was designed around, and many people enjoy the faction and teamplay aspect, it's just way too safe right now compared to other forms of pvp in cyro.

Zerging doesn't require any skill, if enough people are all clustered together nothing can withstand it. Being able to take down a zerg requires skill, not many people can do that. Zergs should be removed.

I negated a group of 24 who were doing it and they all died. Were they mad? Absolutely. Is it their fault for balling up and not having an answer to my negate? Yup.

I'm not trolling. I am just curious if the extreme unpopularity of removing the ability to counter a zerg with something other than another zerg will alter your view or not.

does anyone actually get killed by bomb-blades anymore? I have only seen a couple even trying in the last few months, but few ever succeed in even taking one person out anymore.

I run anywhere from 2 to 6. Remeber proxy det has a radius of 8m. Vicious death has a radius of 5 or 6. If you're all 10m apart from each other, you won't get bombed. Just spread out.

in the end it's a risk for the bomber...
it's not that the bomber really has the time to count if there are six people or seven...

if he has luck he does an awesome kill...
if not he will do does kills, only to die afterwards...

so well... he will have fun, but in the end the deaths of those 6 people are nothing more than an interlude of his own death'song.
leave it like it is, we'll find a way around it...

Not really. The harsh nerf to proxy det+most people running heavy armor kinda put the bombblade out of business. You could do some good work with them during the double Tel Var week, but that's mainly because of how many narrow hallways there is in IC and that many of the people farming stones weren't running PVP builds.

Wait for your own zerg to back you up. If you have noticed in PS4 Thornblade every side has zergs, everyone complains about them but every faction has them

Just depends on how many players are online and how many players are in that map, you really want to control the population, limit players in a map.

What 6 man group are you running with that you get bombed my 6 man with no healer has never got bombed and as a 6 man you have no reason to stack Because you still going to take full damage.

exactly. The only people I saw get killed by bombers during double Telvar were the PvEers that wanted to farm in PvE gear

I died to a Grand Overlord bombblade this past weekend. He took out 3 of my buddies in the 7 man group I was with taking Cropsford. I put on Hurricane and a essence of speed and ran around the house near the 2nd flag in the village. Caught him preparing to bomb by buffing up in the side barn, he got negated instantly by me. Then I personally introduced him to my Greatswords mighty fine edge.

Never seen a MagNB get dropped so quickly in my time playing my Stam Sorc. Too bad I already slayed another GO since that character has the achievement for it.

Normally if your taking a farm with a small group or a lodging your bombed there because everyone gathers in the middle, you say your group has never got bombed? what server are you on? i'm pretty sure everyone has experienced it at least once or twice!

Nice! always good to see a NB get killed Lol. But seriously, we got bombed by an EMP-bomber a week before the patch and he could only kill 2 of our healers. I really didn't think any vet PvPers even ran as a bombers much anymore

Next time get your team to hold block at the flag and also to spread out. 10m spacing. You'll still be in range for the flag capture.

It can be done properly. Like, I may have really exposed that GO MagNB by finding/negating him, but I would by no means call him a bad player. He usually runs bomb blade and is very good at what he does. There are a couple of guys that do run that build and are really good at doing it still. However, its one of those builds where you still have a high chance of dying. It's a risk that comes with that playstyle. But when you nail it really well, it can make for some big comebacks for your group. It's just not a lot of people understand how to combat Negate when they do not have one of their own to cancel it out with.

I was running with one guy doing bomb blade, and I would negate a zerg and he would run inside them to bomb since they can't heal. Needless to say, I was his favorite person. I would like to keep refining that strategy. Since it requires a lot of coordination.
