So what happens to unopened Plunder Skulls after the event is over?
I've got a whole bunch of them stashed away to save some inventory space but giving ZOS's track record of not testing things properly, i now wonder if that's a good idea?

I'd say you will keep them the way they are, even if the event is over, until you open them.
My guess is, it will work like with the annviersary cake. You will still be able to transform("eat cake") but you wont get an exp bonus anymore and skulls will not drop anymore aswell.Attempt and Thoughts to Overhaul Scaling, Attribute System and Enchantments
