can there be an ESO remastered in the future?

MMO's are played for years and years, and because the evolution of video game technology changes so rapidly they eventually show their age. But now we have a new "generation" of consoles coming out and PCs with new graphics cards, is it possible for ESO to get a graphics Re-Master in the future?

advanced environmental (weather/fog/rain/snow/etc) efx
magic particle ex
higher rez textures
advanced lighting efx
advance foliage efx

is this just not worth the time/cost for MMOs or.... just not possible at all?

Console doesn't get those sliders I think.

To the OP... It was already confirmed that ESO would be getting native 4k resolution for on the PS4 Pro, and that 1080p on the pro would also see higher graphic fidelity.

OP wasnt clear what he was or wasnt playing on. IMO, there is no need for a remaster at this point, as 4k resolution looks amazing. Coupled with 1080s in SLI and 100 FPS at 4k looks nice.

EDIT: to elaborate, ESO was made by ZOS, marketed by Beth. Soft. COMPLETELY different than BGS developing Skyrim and also remastering Skyrim, also marketed by Beth. Soft. I dont feel like ESO really needs a remastering when it already has 4k capabilities and looks amazing with everything turned up already.

EDIT #2: They need to focus on fixing the already broken in game mechanics before they focus anything on visuals.

I just want the game to play smoothly. If they can make it pretty and play smoothly, then im on board 100%

DICE made BF1 look GORGEOUS and it runs great, so its not totally impossible, though making a game that makes hundreds of players interact in real time really pretty and not laggy is a tall order.

I think ESO needs to under go a "realm reborn" transition since the lag in this game especially in one of it's key locations (Cyrodiil) is horrendous and a utter disgrace as the issue has been on going after a certain patch.
Yeah it's blunt but man it was hard playing today trying to switch to my 2nd bar only to be swamping back n forth since I'm in the middle of a fight and I need to use a skill on my 2nd bar but can't do it thanks to lag.

Simple answer to your question is just look at WoW it is over 10 years old and the have not "remaster" it and most like wont and also as other have say in post ESO are/well be 4K resolution for on the PS4 Pro and is that already for PC.

So yeah if you are playing on PC you have get better computer but in all honest it is really worth for ESO become whole other game when have everything on max setting.

I have my 4k 60inch hdr tv ready with ps pro ordered.

Can't wait to sit and droool because it's looking AMAZING in 4k.

ESO is constantly in the process of being remastered. For PC they recently dropped an old standard so they could improve graphics over time, but Zos knew most of the PC player base met the new requirement, otherwise it would have been a financial disaster.

For Consoles Zos may be more pigeonholed since it would depend on how fast players adopt the new consoles.
