First off i would like to start by saying the majority of this latest update was really good normal dungeons simple enough for almost anyone to do veteran dungeons more difficult for advanced players good job there. What this post is about is the nerfing of the bow skill essentially you took the bow out of the crowd control running made it useless. The moves arrow barrage and acid spray were destroyed there was no thought reason or logic behind it if there were you would have seen you had to combine aoe's with barrage just to get the same damage as say puncturing sweeps and it never touched the damage of steel tornado. You can not heal substantially from either without being on sorcerer class like sweeps. I am cautioning you to change it back stop this absurd counterproductive road you are on before you go off ruining anything else which you will if you continue. You will lose players and ruin your entire game because the next things you will nerf will be the forementioned puncturing sweeps and steel tornado followed by the 2h move brawler then there will be no crowd control.
My advice to you is to stop this change it back and never mess with it again because you will not stop until you have ruined the entire game I have seen it before. If it ain't broke don't fix it and it was not broken.

✭✭✭✭that was broken in pvp, people would spam the snare from the bow and it would stack, they fixed that.
more to the point, from what i got from the rambling is that you want he bow to be a primary dps tool, it is not, it is a buff bar, for endless and poison injection. that is it.You can not heal substantially from either without being on sorcerer class like sweeps.
this confuses me, sorcs don't have sweeps, they have crit surge and it heals like crazy too, like 3-5k HPS, if you have a good build with at least 60-70% crit.7 -

joshjda✭✭✭Futhermore i could not possibly care less about pvp and if pvp was the problem then it only should have been disabled for pvp not the entire game it will get very boring when you have to run twelve characters with the same exact setup because everything has been nerfed.

you understand that there is a class in this game called "sorcerer" so when you say, "You can not heal substantially from either without being on sorcerer class like sweeps", that is implying that this means that sweeps is in the sorcerer class skill lines, which it is not. you prolly mean that you can not heal without using magic type things like sweeps, this is not trued whether, each class has way to get heals from their own class and there is vigor.

On topic, bow is terrible for PVE DPS compared to other options. It's just the way it is for now. It'll change eventually. A new meta will arrive, and the bow users will have their time.
Stick to using it as a buff bar and run dual wield on the front for better DPS to help your group. At the end of the day, end game PVE is a team sport. Support your buddies
If you want to run bow, go into Cyro and gank in the field, or snipe from the back of a Zerg/Keep wall.
To get my sniper fix, I'm playing a Vamp Stam blade in Cyrodiil and it's great fun.
Stam DK can also run a very hard hitting sniper build if you want to try that.
Mobility is better on stamblade, but the DK will one shot just about anyone from stealth.

✭✭✭I do miss Bombard but I'm honestly not that upset about the changes made to it.
If I need an AoE snare, I'll throw down Caltrops and an AoE immobilize was never really needed in group content (except in cases in which my group really needed to be babysit, in which case, I just don't bother as the group is destined to fail).
If anything, the change allowed me to which to Acid Spray which I just use as an AoE option against trash, alongside Endless for some cheap DoT damage.

joshjda✭✭✭The next move will be to raise level cap add more attribute points (make you regrind all your gear saying it's the best way to fix things) then moving up those "max level caps" they put on everything. It is forcing a many many times failed system of nonsense tried by many many other mmo's who think people want to do the exact same thing 100's of times for the same crap over and over.

Personally, I understand what you meant. But I was once accustomed to working with genuine geniuses and learned to understand their expressions of their thinking. Not that I am a genius myself, but smart and capable.
