✭I'm skipping it. I don't even know where dungeons are or how to even get a group for one so, i'll do it next year :P
There are 5 delves per map, 1 public dungeon per map, 3 dolmens per map for the 5 faction areas, group dungeons in every map, and dozens of bosses in the entire game.
Even if you are new to the game, the 100%xp buff is incredible, the plunder skulls are just a bonus.
It wouldn't take much effort on your part to take the opportunity and enjoy yourself, how you play.1 -

There are still other choices for XP bonus.Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis0 -

✭✭✭✭It doesn't require anything of the such... You can just sit and farm the same one over and over again and not spoil the story. I do think the event is way too grindy, however.
Way too grindy? Are you kidding? You can get everything from the event with just a few hours of killing World Bosses, Delve Bosses, and Dungeon Bosses.

whaddabatchSoul ShrivenI just sit in on delve until I'm full on loot then log off because you know, life. But even with just doing that for an hour or so a day, I'm only missing the staff motif. I would say not bad.0

gangyzgirl✭✭✭✭On the first day me and three buddies just farmed Fungal Grotto I for hours. There was no competition, it was easy and 5 skulls a pop if we timed it out properly. By the end of the day, we all had masks and the full motif learned. We figured everyone would be after the world bosses and public dungeons so we just avoided those altogether. The decision to go off and get into every dungeon/delve was a decision you made on your own.Edited by gangyzgirl on October 24, 2016 3:42PM0 -

✭✭I'm using the event as a way to complete all the anchors I didn't get in cadwells silver and gold originally. :shrug: There are now people at dolmens that I never saw anyone at before.
Yeah, I am using it to complete the dolmen boss achievement. I don't know if its more likely to spawn a boss at the end if there are scads of people, but already closed out 5-6 I didn't have before.0
