Some of you know Bloodlines from earlier in ESO's days as a strictly criminal organization with many branching paths to choose from. To those of you that liked that I'm sorry to tell you that this is no longer the case with Bloodlines.
Due to the community' needs on EPRP, I have decided to recreate Bloodlines with its one true, original purpose in life - As a guild for the unholy monsters out there. Starting from today, Bloodlines is no longer for criminals, but for all monsters out there who seeks to survive in this savage mortal world of Tamriel.
Bloodlines will offer guidance to all new monster roleplayers, both vampires and lycanthropes alike, all monsters are welcome in our fold. Our goal is to enforce, yet at the same time ensure good quality roleplay from all monster roleplayers. It is important to remember that being a vampire or lycanthrope comes with very good benefits and strengths, however at the same time, each disease and curseform has weaknesses, and the major one is the inability to show their true nature in public, for that will force them to flee forever, or get killed in the normal TES setting.
We seek to enforce this very point with our Masquerade system - which has 6 core rules for all roles to adhere to, those can be seen here below.1st Tenet: Reveal your true nature to none beyond the Masquerade, nor the nature of others.
2nd Tenet: Sire your childe only with the permission of the Elders, the Childe’ action is your burden to bear.
3rd Tenet: Respect your kindred no matter their form.
4th Tenet: Harm none within the Masquerade, only the Elders may call for a monsters demise.
5th Tenet: Guide the unknowing to our path, aid their survival.
6th Tenet: Adhere your Elders, obey their call.
Breaking the Masquerade will result in your neverending exile. If you have not travelled far before midnight, you will be met with your demise.http://thebloodlines.enjin.com/masquerade
At first glance these rules might seem very strict, yet they're there to ensure the quality of monster RP stays good, and lore-friendly. We wish no longer to see monsters reveal themselves in public, and then believe that there are no consequences. Power has a price in Tamriel, especially when it comes from powerful daedric princes. This means that if any monster breaks the Masquerade, they will be forced into exile far away from the place they were discovered, or be killed.
We do not have a typical hierarchy in Bloodlines, instead we follow the principle of roles for all members, these roles can be viewed here below:
The CouncilAncient: The Ancient is the leader of the council, and the founder of the Masquerade.
Elder: The Elders are the chosen advisors in the council, renowed members of the Masquerade who have shown exceptional prowness and experience of the mortal world, and the supernatural.
Patriarch: The Patriarchs are male leaders of a coven, clan or all other forms of organizations that have chosen to adhere to the Masquerade, and in return have themself, and all their people protected by it.
Matriarch: The Matriarchs are female leaders of a coven, clan or all other forms of organizations that have chosen to adhere to the Masquerade, and in return have themself, and all their people protected by it.
These are your leaders, and these are the elders you must obey, both vampire and lycanthrope alike.Society rolesOverseer: Overseers have proven themselves capable as natural leaders. Overseers ensure that all other Monsters perform, and will give out assignments when required. They answer directly to the council.
Instructor: Instructors teaches Fledglings and other monsters how to behave and act under the Masquerade, as well as the mortal society. Instructors teach the very basic of a supernatural life.
Mistwalker: The Mistwalkers are shrouded within the mortal society. Mistwalkers are excellent at hiding themselves, and keeping the curious eye of the mortal society away from the supernatural presences.
Deathbringer: The Deathbringers enforces the laws of the Masquerade very strictly. Deathbringers are executioners that will be sent when someone needs to perish, or be granted their final demise.
Bloodweaver: The Bloodweavers hones their knowledge of the supernatural creatures. Bloodweavers take great pride in studying each disease and curse form to uncover new aspects of the supernatural origins, and its history.
These are your proud kindred, no matter their form. Their duty is important to the Masquerade, and shall therefore be respected by all.NewcommersFledgling: A Fledgling is a newly made vampire or lycanthrope that has yet to fully realize or understand the importance of the Masquerade, it is the sire' job to instruct them in our supernatural lifestyle. If the sire has been met with their demise, an instructor will take the fledgling in as their own childe' and teach them our ways.
Monsters who're of age, yet are new to the Masquerade will also be considered a Fledgling, until they have fully realized the Masquerade and its importance to the monster society. When a Fledgling has learned, they will be given a trial by the council to see which role in the Masquerade will suit them the most.http://thebloodlines.enjin.com/ranks
These roles acts as jobs within Bloodlines, and in the Monster Society for all members and leaders alike. All players are naturally able to chose what role they want the most, however if one wish to, then the Elders will give the Fledgling a trial to see which role they would fufill the best.
What do we offer then in Bloodlines? We offer lore-abiding monster roleplay for both Lycanthropes and Vampires alike, and a safe haven away from society for us to hang out. We will also participate greatly in community wide events, whilst upholding the Masquerade. Bloodlines is for you who want a true Elder Scrolls experience as a vampire or werewolf, and be with fellow like-minded roleplayers.
All our members are naturally encouraged to roam around and RP with our fellow guilds on Ebonheart Pact in the mortal society, however be warned - The Masquerade will be in effect at all times, and if a monster breaks it, they will be forced to suffer the consequences. Bloodlines also offers protection to all monsters alike, as long as they adhere to the Masquerade, and uphold it to the fullest - That is why the Masquerade is here, to ensure survival of all monsters.
The guild is now
OPEN for recruitment! and you can contact me on European megaserver as
@ShadowHvo, or go visit our homepage
here.
If you feel more spontaneous then you can also seek out Bloodlines in its new safe haven of Ashenmoor
(Kragenmoor ingame!) in Stonefalls, which we use as a safe place for all monsters. Incharacter there are guards around all the perimeter, to ensure no mortal intruder gets access. We're also fortunate to have no locked buildings, and no enemy NPC's after quest completion.
Feel free to come around if you're a monster, however mortals stay abay, come inside and your character will not walk away again. We wish to deliever a true monster Elder Scrolls experience, and that goes both ways for both monsters and mortals, we're in danger in mortal society, yet so are mortals if they tread were they shouldn't.
If you're a already a leader of a Vampire Clan, or Lycanthrope Pack then don't be disencouraged, for we're still for you. All leaders with their own guild to take care off will immediately become a Patriarch or Matriarch, so they get a casting vote in the Council of Bloodlines. See Bloodlines as an organization of multiple vampire clans and werewolf packs, banding together in order to ensure their own survival against the mortal world.
Here below you will find a IC letter for those monsters interested.
That is all, we hope you like what you see, and we'll be happy to have any veteran monsters join our fold, or to help any new monsters get well-versed in the TES setting, and get the real Elder Scrolls monster experience. Bloodlines is open to everyone, as long as the Masquerade is upheld.
Sincerely
Bloodlines Officer Team
