Is the current "auto-channel/instance" of areas working, or are locations overpopulated?

Indifferent/Unk

My playtime is usually at the lowest ebb in the population cycle so farming is good. Finding people for group content though is like eating spaghetti with a spoon.

Even if it is working, everywhere is overpopulated anyway. Too many people in one instance. I mean, all the vet zones are gone...so use all that space to split the player base up. I hate going to main cities...or a dolmen with 20+ people at it.

The one major trade city is absolutely flooded with players. Quite frankly it is a wonder my game does not outright lag due to the ammount of players.

Meanwhile, area's like stormhaven simply instance with like one or two people. The instancing is completely off.

Doubt it. Here on Xbox na. Rawl'kah, Waywest, Mournhold, Elder root, and all of the starter areas are filled with players. It only feels it is empty when it a zone with a city that is not popular and even then there ways people near delves and dark anchors. I seriously do not think it isa problem with instancing.
