I am not a VMA expert by any means, but you could be taking too long to kill the crystals up top. From what I understand, that dot hits harder and harder the longer you are up there. If you are getting more than 2 or 3 moving walls, then I think that is a sign that you are taking too long.
You can jump back down below to remove and reset the dot, but you will have to kill another daedroth and then kill another clanfear on top of the lit up sigil. I hate those daedroth, so I do everything I can to kill those crystals as quickly as possible, including using ultimates on them.
Get used to killing the daedroth.
I find it's often a matter of getting away from the clanfer and watching for the lich spikes too... Don't fight in the middle. Somehow that adds more ghosts....
2 max Rapid strikes between each vigor. Circle and hug. Dodge roll through if you have to. Try to prepare the ground with hail or caltrops. You can recover Stam killing the next clannfer spawn at a portal.
And ult if you have too. You gotta jump down after 2 crystals or the second wall pops.
As to crystals - dot one up and then get to the wall, ideally starting to dot the next. No shame at all in jumping down with 2 at less than 10 percent and 1 still full while you're learning - the second trip up top will bring the boss back down.
But even then, it's better to jump than get kicked down...

I see, I must be taking too long. I have 75% crit and 3.5k weapon damage I must be using my moves wrong etc

I am not sure if you are being sarcastic here or not, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt. How many moving walls are you getting? If it's only 2 or 3, then I don't know what's going wrong. If it's more than 2 or 3, then you will need to kill the crystals faster, or jump down.

Nope, dead serious. Cant do it in time.

I have been stuck on this boss for about 12 hours in total, I physically cannot do it!! I struggle getting the first daedroth down, then when I do, the stupidly OP DOT up top takes me down? I am running behind the moving wall and the DOT does 140k+ to me?! I have vigor and crit surge on with 75% critical chance yet I still don't have enough healing to stay up...
What more can I do?!

Plus the execute on reverse slice will do a lot more damage when you really need it. Tip go right at the top and don't dodge roll the attacks. Always block it's less stam.
Up top, block rally up. Hail down, injection amd weave away and execute each crystal. You get a much needed stam recovery boost with killing with a 2h. It's actually quite hard on dw if you're not used to maelstrom.
Or try this. Buff up crush one crystal... overload on back bar and just crush them. You'll smash the other 2 within 1 wall phase and be at full stam.
Like others have said, dot up a crystal and move to another one (block or dodge the skull attacks). I'd suggest taking the power sigil before you go up if you're having issues destroying all 3 in one trip (Before the third round of wall comes and blows up). If resource management is an issue it could be your rotation if you're chugging potions and still having problems. Maybe dark deal would be of use to you up there?wellerrocks wrote: »The bit I am stuck on is primarily the crystals here. Taking them down in time when having 0 stamina then dodging to is near impossible

I'm sorry. Not trying to be rude, but please do not listen to this person. Rally every 3s? DW is much much faster than 2h.

I'm sorry but you're a complete mong. Where is your useful advice? The op is saying he can't put heal or outlast the dot and that's what you've got to say? Go back to worshipping YT heroes.
Way to help someone who is evidently knew to vma...when 99% of attempts in the first place where never made with stam sorcs or dw. Ever think he may not have vma daggers and leet gear?
If you can't do it in time: drop down, IGNORE the deadroth, kite it and pull clannfear to portal. Kill Only the clannfear, that's what I do when I drop down there. Keep vigor and surge up, should be enough to kite the deadroth. The deadroth dies anyway when you destroyed all crystals! When you're down again after crystals : take the defensive sigil, the boss will dps himself with projectiles while you kill the adds. Then offensive to burn him down. Nr one priority: ghosts. If boss gets one, you're screwed.
